It's concise, very readable syntax has me exciting about writing JavaScript again. It's unobtrusiveness makes it easy to add rich behavior—such as background form submissions—to web applications with very little modification of existing code. Being unobtrusive is particularly important when you are working with a large code base, or where extensive refactoring just isn't going to get funding.
