1. The first section shows you how to generate several charts, selectively view paths, and generate a workcenter utilization report.
2. The second section shows you how to make and save alternative layouts and material handling systems.
3. The third section takes you step-by-step through a basic analysis of a ladder factory.
Tip Look over Getting Started in the Factory Programs Guide for a quick review of what you should know before attempting any of the FactoryFLOW tutorials, including how to load the Factory menu and start FactoryFLOW. Repeating the Tutorial
The INSTALL program copies the files needed for the tutorial to the CIMFTUTORIAL directory on your hard disk, with a backup set of the files to the BAKTUTOR directory. If you named the CIMF directory something else during installation, substitute that name when referring to your directory. The files include drawing and data files used in the tutorial. During the tutorial, you will modify the original files and create new data files.
To do the tutorial a second time, you will need to restore the files to their original condition. To restore the files, first delete all files from the TUTORIAL directory, then copy everything from the BAKTUTOR directory

He immediately headed over to the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) stand with an air of curiosity and child-like excitement. “What’s Maya?” he asked the man behind the stand, as he pointed to a small book on the table. “It’s computer animation software. Films like Spider-Man®, The Lord of the Rings™
Trilogy and many others use it to create all kinds of special effects,” was the enthusiastic response.
“I want to work in special effects,” Daniel almost whispered. His eyes were dancing as he picked up the book and lingered over its pages.
“Well, you’ve come to the right place,” smiled the man.
That was a year ago and the man behind the stand was Rob Jones, Digital Arts Facilitator and Maya instructor at Lewisham City Learning Centre (CLC). Daniel has since worked on two animated films and is preparing to attend Bournemouth University, a leading school in computer animation. “When I met Rob Jones by accident, I was very lucky. I am now able to learn this sophisticated software long before going to university,” says Daniel. “Having this experience has given me the encouragement to work hard to achieve my goal.”

Really. We’re not kidding. We can tell and show you the steps, but, if you really want to learn this, you need to get the ‘feel’.
The best way to cop a feel is to serve an apprenticeship. However, if you insist on reading this you might find some of it entertaining, you’ll get a good idea of the procedure, discover that there is no real mystery to this type of wrenching, and you might pick up a nifty tip or two. What’s This All About Ultimately, valve adjustment is about the ride. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Contrary to what you might think, valve adjustment is a straightforward procedure. It’s easy to do. You’re not going to end up with oil all over. You don’t need to buy thirty or forty specialty gaskets and an Iraq pack of oil. Nor will you have an explosion of tiny little parts to track, reassemble or lose.

This information is not copyrighted (especially since I have borowed logos and trademarked names) so feel free to share it. Version 1.2 January 30, 2002 I was very frustrated! After creating six “coasters”, I thought there was no way to burn a bootable Mac CD using Toast. I followed their directions, the help I found on the Toast web site was unclear, and I downloaded someone else s instructions and just couldn’t do it.
While I’m not a computer expert, I have used Mac’s since (this dates me) 1985 and can probably do better troubleshooting and mechanical work than the geek that charges $75 an hour. So I poked around, put together the pieces of the puzzle and burned a bootable Mac OS CD. While I was doing that, I wrote this to help anyone else who was as frustrated as I was. Yes, it’s lengthy and detailed but if you follow step-by-step you won’t have any “coasters”. If you find any errors or omissions feel free to email me at thofts@mac.com. Thanks! - - Tom PS - Please keep the “stuffed” copy of this in your SHARED FOLDER so others on the network can get to it when I’m offline. –Thanks!
