  • D-Link DMI-128ESU+ ISDN Terminal Adapter (TA) Users Manual
  • The ISDN TA (Integrated Service Digital Network Terminal Adapter) is a communication product for the Internet and digital communication era. It provides high speed and high quality transmission. The TA supports two analogs and one digital port. The two analog ports act like two regular telephone lines, which can be connected to regular telephone, answering machine, fax and modem products. Also, the TA can provide flexible functions like: supplementary service, call screening, speed dial and global call function to meet user’s requirements. The digital port with the RS232 link can be connected to PC to support data communication with remote site. It supports many protocol selection such as V.110, V.120, X.75, X.25 on D channel, PPP (Point-toPoint Protocol), MLPPP (Multi-Link PPP), BACP (Bandwidth Allocation Control Protocol) / BOD (Bandwidth On Demand) function. With the MLPPP, the entire 128k ISDN bandwidth can be used to access the Internet. The BOD function can utilize dynamic bandwidth demand under MLPPP connection. Under MLPPP data connection, the TA will automatically release one B channel for voice communication when the user picks up the phone to make a call and returns to two B channels for MLPPP when the phone hangs up. With the BACP function, the 128k capacity of ISDN can be utilized fully. The TA is equipped with channel bundling feature which allows the user to use both B channels to maximize the 128k bandwidth for data transmission. The TA complies with ITU-T Q.921, Q.931 for D channel protocol, and provides switching type selections
  • AUTO-CODE Laser Tutorial
  • Using the Laser interface, this tutorial will step you through how to run AUTO-CODE in AutoCAD. This tutorial introduces subroutine programming and automatic leaders. The drawing is all set to be used in AUTO-CODE. The part is positioned so that the lower left corner of the drawing is at the zero point. The parts are shifted one-half inch in from the edges of the material. The inside cuts are drawn as closed polylines. The layer for dimensions can be turned off to reduce the clutter. Pick the layer pull down list in AutoCAD and freeze the DIM layer. All other layers should remain visible for this programming exercise. Starting with a 4 and ½ inch square stock material, the parts will be clamped along the top and bottom edges. It is not necessary to show the clamps in AUTO-CODE. It is necessary that you know where they are located relative to the drawing and adding them to the drawing can help clarify the placement of the stock for the machine tool operator if you supply them with a copy of the drawing. • JAVALAB – A Java Tutorial and Programming Laboratory System Paper
  • Distance learning has become the most popular way of lifelong learning, and it is widely applied not only to school’s courses but also to enterprise’s training projects. The performance objectives of learning a programming language include the following: let the learner familiar with the programming language and training for the abilities to correct syntax errors in source code; developing the skills to fix the bugs in a program by debugging tools; and improve the logic analysis and reasoning ability of problems solving. However, most of he programming skills are cultivated heavily rely on experiment practices, so learning by practicing, learning by debugging, and learning by samples are the most popular learning strategies for learning a programming course. Learners will incrementally develop their programming skills by repeatedly practicing the programming cycle of writing a program, compiling the program, debugging the program, and testing the program. In this paper, we propose a JAVALAB system which provides three types of learning activity, simulation, quiz-and-feedback, and on-line programming, to meet the needs of programming course. JAVALAB uses XML web service as a glue to integrate Java hands-on practices with distance learning. JAVALAB can support the scenery of learning by practicing, learning by debugging, and learning by samples. In JAVALAB, a learner can do hands-on practices as well as learning activities in asynchronous distance education system. JAVALAB allow a learner to write, compile, debug, and test his Java applet on the Web. The learner is encouraged to write his code snippet according to the programming guide,

But back then, AMD had only the K8 20 April 2007 AMD Logo www.amd.com By: Dan Frincu, Hardware Editor AMDs Agena Processor is a Serious Overclocker The era of overclocking has begun When Intel came forth with the Core microarchitecture, everybody was simply delighted at the fact that a processor could overclock to as much as 100% of its stock frequency by using air cooling alone. But back then, AMD had only the K8 architecture to show off and people were already aware of what its capabilities were. So Intel got almost 90% of the x86 processo market, while AMD was left with a trail of breadcrumbs to help them get back on their way. But then the dreaded K10 microarchitecture came, bound to take the bull by the hor and shake things up a little bit. As far as speculatio go, there were a lot of them made on this subject, but it seems that the guys from Fudzilla.com got their hands on an Agena processor and took it for a severe regime Download PDF
