  • There are many Sun Microsystems technologies that use Ajax [Ajax], and more than one way to use Ajax on mobile platforms. For example, applications written using the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE, formerly known as J2EE) may generate XML, JSON [JSON], XHTML and/or ECMAScript destined for mobile browsers. One of the recent advances on the Java Platform, Mobile Edition (Java ME, formerly known as J2ME) is the Mobile Service Architecture [MSA]. MSA is a Java Specification Request (JSR-248) which defines a set of APIs for Java ME which include a wide variety of features, from Bluetooth to payment, multimedia APIs and support for rich, animated graphics. This paper discusses an effort to provide Java ME developers with tools to create Mobile Ajax applications, combining the simplicity and familiarity of the Ajax programming model with the richness and secure environment of the MSA APIs. This effort takes the form of an open-source library that can be added to any Java ME application. The paper briefly describes this library along with some sample use cases. Mobile Ajax For The Java ME Platform Ajax is typically used in the context of Web applications running in a browser and using XmlHttpRequest from ECMAScript to retrieve XML or JSON data from RESTful Web Services. Repeating the Tutorial The INSTALL program copies the files needed for the tutorial to the CIMFTUTORIAL directory on your hard disk, with a backup set of the files to the BAKTUTOR directory. If you named the CIMF directory something else during installation, substitute that name when referring to your directory. The files include drawing and data files used in the tutorial. During the tutorial, you will modify the original files and create new data files. To do the tutorial a second time, you will need to restore the files to their original condition.   • The Focus Midget engine is equipped with an opposite rotation water pump impeller, and the water pump pulley turns in the opposite direction when compared to the street version of the engine. This does not reverse the coolant flow through the engine, it simply allows the pulley to be driven with the HTD belt instead of using the back-side of a serpentine belt. No modifications to the water pump impeller or water pump pulley are allowed. This photo shows a typical “burp tank” installation. The tank is mounted as high on the dash as possible. One line runs from the center of the tank to the radiator, and another line runs from the bottom of the tank to the water elbow at the rear of the cylinder head.   • ViPEr, a Visual Programming Environment for Python
  • In this paper we describe a Python- and Tkinter-based visual-programming environment called ViPEr. This tool enables non-programmers to build computational and visualization networks interactively. Computational nodes can be placed onto a canvas and their input and output ports can be connected using the mouse. The connections between the nodes define a directed graph that will be used to propagate data and trigger the execution of nodes that have new input data. ViPEr is, in appearance, similar to programs such as AVS [Upson et al. 89] from Advanced Visual Simulations Inc, or OpenDX [DX 93] from IBM, but presents some fundamental differences which will be pointed out throughout this paper. Several examples of applications will be used to illustrate ViPEr’s design and current range of capabilities. The focus of our laboratory is the modelisation of molecular interactions. We are working on several aspects of this problem, including molecular visualization, protein-ligand docking, protein- protein docking, molecular surfaces, phenomenological potentials, etc. The methods we use in our models come from fields as diverse as computational chemistry and biology, computational geometry and augmented reality. We have been using Python as a platform to develop re-usable and inter- operable components dealing with different aspects of structural bioinformatics [Sanner 99a, Coon et al. 01, Python at TSRI]. These components are the basic building blocks from which several domain specific applications have been developed. Remove the bumper together with the alloy bar. This is hold by two big screws. Remove the alloy bar from the original bumper and install it to the car. 2. Placement of the Hofele-Design front bumper on the car: Place the new bumper on the car but do not yet bolt it on. 3. Preparation of the bonnet: Remove the front grill and the rubber stripe behind it. Remove the bonnet/hood lock and replace the grip through a longer one (part of delivery) Install the front grill (HF 7354-V8, W12 or S8) in the extension piece. 4. Placement of the extension piece: Place the extension piece onto the bonnet/hood and fix it with adhesive tape. Align the front grill so that there is an even slit between bumper and grill. 5.
