Heroes of Might and Magic is one of the most renowned and beloved series for every turn-based strategy gamer there is. The top of the peak was reached with the almost legendary Heroes of Might and Magic III. This was for many years the defining title for this genre. Although HOMM IV was not so enthusiastically greeted, it was the corner stone that allowed the series to take its decisive step to the 3D realms and opened a new path for this series.
