Installing the Component
It is recommended that you make a backup of your database structure before installing the 4D Ajax Framework component.
1 Open your 4D database with 4D Insider
2 In the menu bar select Components -> Install/Update...
3 In the resulting dialog select the 4D Ajax Framework component (.4CP file) found in the installer’s “For 4D 2004” folder and click the Open button.
4 When installation completes quit 4D Insider.

While there can be enormous business benefits to leveraging Web 2.0 (such as building and enhancing customer intimacy and loyalty), it also introduces unprecedented levels of security risks. This presents CIOs with a dilemma: how to embrace the benefits of Web 2.0 while assuring that their enterprises remain safe from outside threats and risks to sensitive business information. Business and IT leaders are right to be both eager and cautious about bringing Web 2.0 tools into the enterprise and transitioning to an Enterprise 2.0 environment.
On the positive side, community-building networking applications and services can effectively link customers, suppliers, partners, and employees for fast and easy collaboration—anywhere, anytime. Google Earth fully integrates localDDM - Maya AnimationNot entirely unexpected, the fourth and last assignment for the 3D modelling course was to make an animation in Maya. When we first read the requirements, all kinds of wild ideas came up in our minds, most of which were unrealizable in the two weeks we had available. Two weeks we had to use to think of the subject of the animation, to learn how to make animations in Maya, to write this report and of course, to render the final result. Since both of us never made an animation in Maya before, we decided to work through a few tutorials first, trying the examples described and getting used to the animation interface. When we were able to find and use the most basic items for developing animations, we started to work on our final result.
Our animation starts out with a simulation of the ”Matrix Effect”, which displays glowing green letters falling down on the screen. Next, the camera zooms out and displays a square filled with domino stones, guide rails and a ball. The ball will fall down onto the guide rails, roll further down and hit the first domino stone, which then starts the falling of the first row of stones. When the last stone of the first row falls down, it will hit the + shaped item, which will turn around, hitting over the large purple stone, which will then hit the large field of stones and set the final action in motion.
In this report, we willA Web-Based Antibody DatabaseSubstances foreign to the body, such as disease-causing bacteria and viruses and other infectious agents, are known as antigens. They are generally of high molecular weight and are commonly proteins or polysaccharides. Our natural defenses against these infectious agents are antibodies, which are proteins that seek out the antigens and help destroy them. There is a significant number of anybodies (in the range of hundreds of thousands) that are developed and used by today’s research community.
Research groups and labs generally depend on their own sources of antibodies necessary for their research, and keep the antibody information according to their needs. The antibody information is stored using different data formats, and the search for the correct antibody is sometimes impossible. We would like to propose a web based database solution to this problem, by creating a database framework that can be easily used by any research group or a lab.
The type of information to be stored in the database will follow after a short overview of the role of antibodies and their general properties.
Antibodies (or immunoglobulins) can be regarded as universal adapter molecules (Sirch and Lenmox, 1995). They have two very useful characteristics:
1. Each antibody binds to and attacks only one particular antigen.
2. Some antibodies, once activated by the occurence of a disease, continue to confer resistance against that disease. Classic examples are the antibodies to the childhood diseases: chickenpox and measles.
