Deploying CFMLon ASP.NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework Using BlueDragonBlueDragon 7.0.1 for the Microsoft .NET Framework (commonly referred to as BlueDragon.NET) allows CFML applications to be deployed on Windows servers running the Microsoft .NET Framework, the Microsoft IIS web server, and ASP.NET. The Microsoft .NET Framework is built-in to Windows 2008 Server, Windows Vista, and Windows 2003 Server; and, can be installed onto Windows 2000 and Windows XP. While most web applications on .NET are built with ASP.NET and other components of the .NET framework, BlueDragon makes it possible for the .NET Framework to also process CFML applications. Indeed, BlueDragon.NET is the only way to run CFML on the .NET Framework.

This document describes how to install BlueDragon.NET and run CFML applications via the Microsoft IIS web server and the .NET framework, without requiring the installation of proprietary Adobe ColdFusion server software. See section 6 for details on the technical underpinnings of how BlueDragon.NET is implemented. This document also offers a brief overview of the .NET Framework. More importantly, it explains the many benefits of .NET deployment for CFML developers. It discusses the many forms of integration that are possible between CFML pages and native .NET components, including ASP.NET pages. Section 3 discusses these many benefits, and the details and code examples of integrating CFML and ASP.NET are detailed in a separate document, Integrating CFML with ASP.NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework.

When you first apply the Lathe modifier, your line will look really weird. Simply go under the Parameters Menu, and then under the Align sub-menu select Max. To get the shape that we want, while still under the Parameters Menu, change the Degrees to 180.0. Make sure the check box next to Weld Core is selected.

The system uses video edge detection to reduce operator error by removing judgment inconsistencies. Resolution depends on magnification of objective and type of detection selected. Minimum resolution is 100 nm for 100x objective and video edge detection.

– Detects edges from distinct variations in field intensity
– Must have objective selection on the screen the same as the objective in use.
Probes
• Singly ‘fired’ by pressing the center scroll button on the mouse.
• Continuously fired by selecting ‘continuous fire’ on menu created by right clicking over video view.
To acquire points:
1. Select a feature measurement (on upper center menu) or use Measure Magic
2. Select a probe
a. One of those listed above, or
b. New probe can be used by selecting a point or multiple points depending on if measuring a point, line, or arc/circle (1, 2, or 3 points, respectively). The last point selected should be ‘dragged’ across the edge by the mouse to create the proper probe.
3. Position the probe over the video image
4. Size the probe
5. Select direction of scan (light to dark, dark to light, or first edge)
6. Click the center mouse button to fire
