  • Setting up the LitePro 580 Manual
  • This chapter describes how to position the LitePro for optimum viewing, how to connect computers and video equipment to the LitePro, and how to power up the projector. Getting started 1. Choose a location where you can dim the lighting. ” To use the LitePro in a well-lit room, use a special high gain screen, which you can obtain from your In Focus dealer. 2. Place the LitePro on a flat surface. 3. Orient the LitePro so that its lens is at a right angle to the projec-tion screen. ” If you want to use the LitePro s Rear Project feature, set it up behind a translucent screen. See Rear Proj on page 28. 4. Remove the lens cover. 5. Plug the power cord into the LitePro, then plug it into your elec-trical outlet. Always use the power cord that was shipped with your LitePro. The LitePro accepts power from 110-120 VAC and 220-240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz, three-wire type grounded sources. When you disconnect the LitePro, always remove the power cord from the electrical outlet first, then from the LitePro. It is recommended that you connect a power strip between the LitePro and your electrical outlet to protect against a power surge. Positioning the projector The distance from the LitePro 580 to the screen determines the size of the projected image. Use of the LitePro s X1.4 zoom lens also affects screen size. The table below indicates the size of the screen image when using the maximum

  • Seaflash 150 Digital Canon Nikon User Manual
  • The SEAFLASH 150 DIGITAL is fully controlled by a micro processor. Some of the significant advantages of using a micro controller are the possibility of managing digital communication on a serial bus with a digital camera and the possibility of easily updating the firmware in order to guarantee compatibilities with future generation digital picture cameras (if possible). An additional advantage offers the digital display which is the perfect interface between the user and the flash. Feature The display and ready flash indicator are automatically dimmed by an ambient light photo diode. With this feature the display retains its perfect visibility in different light conditions. In order to improve battery life and to make the battery management very fast, easy and safe for the user a lot of attention was given to the battery pack electronics. This user manual contains important information. By reading it carefully you will learn about the many advantageous features of the flash which will help you take great pictures. Firmware release number When the unit is switched on the LED display shows first the firmware release number. A dot after the firmware release number (.) indicates it is for CANON – no dot means it is for NIKON. Download pdf Seaflash 150 Digital Canon Nikon User Manual
  • Java and C# Generic Types and Methods
  • History of generics in programming languages The theory of generic types (parametric polymorphism) is by Hindley (1968) and Milner (1977). First programming language with parametric polymorphism is ML (1979); then Miranda, Haskell, Clean, ... First object-oriented language with generics is Eiffel (1991). Generics in Java • PolyJ (Myers, Bank, Liskov; 1997): Type parameters can be instantiated by reference types and primitive types; requires an extended JVM. • Generic Java (Bracha, Odersky, Stoutamire, Wadler 1998): Became Java 5.0 generics (plus wildcards, due to researchers at Aarhus University); runs on standard JVM. • NextGen (Cartwright, Steele; 1998): Type parameters can be instantiated by reference types, not primitive types; runs on standard JVM Generics in C# • Generic C# and new Generic Common Language Runtime (Kennedy and Syme, Microsoft Research Cambridge UK, 2001). • In November 2002, Microsoft announced generics for next version of C#; Redmond had been convinced ... • In August 2003, first alpha version of .Net Common Language Infrastructure with generics released. • Building the Avanade® Software Lifecycle Platform using Visual Studio 2005 Team System
  • Why build a Software Development Lifecycle solution based on Visual Studio Team System? Avanade has over 2500 solution developers worldwide focused on the .NET platform that work with customers to integrate Microsoft technologies in heterogeneous enterprise IT environments. As we execute large and complex projects, building mission-critical applications with geographically distributed teams, we have little room for error - the success of the project depends on how accurately we can estimate and deliver on the engagement. To this end, we are constantly looking for ways to improve consistency and repeatability of our development process and thus increase the productivity of our project teams. In other words, our project execution must be industrialized. Industrialization is about being predictable, repeatable, consistent, and high-quality. The goals for ACA® Lifecycle can be summarized as follows: Provide an easy to provision consistent development environment that facilitates execution of projects across a geographically distributed team. Integrate the development methodology into the development environment. Integrate project management tools with the development environment. Customize the development environment and enact Avanade prescriptive guidance in the development toolset. Visual Studio® Team System (VSTS) offers a rich environment for project execution that can be customized to meet the goals outlined above. VSTS provides integrated version control, reporting, work item tracking, process guidance, and automated build capabilities. Our approach is to use VSTS as the foundation upon which to build the Avande software development lifecycle asset. Figure 1 shows an overview of ACA® Lifecycle. • Postfix Cyrus Web cyradm HOWTO
  • This document guides you through the installation of the Postfix mail transportation agent (MTA), the Cyrus IMAP server. The goal is a fully functional high-performance mailsystem with user-administration with Web-cyradm, a webinterface. Data like virtualusers, aliases etc. are stored in a mysql database. Cyrus IMAP The Cyrus IMAP is developed and maintained by Carnegie Mellon University. Unlike the WU-IMAPd Cyrus is using its own method to store the users mail. The data is stored in a database, this makes Cyrus so performant. Especially with lots of users and/or lot of big emails, there is nothing such fast as the Cyrus IMAP-server. Another very important feature is, you don’t need a local Un*x user for each account. All users are authenticated by the IMAP-Server. This makes it a great solution for really huge base of users. User administration is done by special IMAP-commands. This allows you to eighter use the commandline interface, or use one of the available Webinterfaces. This Method is much more secure than a Webinterface to /etc/passwd! Since CMU changed the license policy for Cyrus, this software is going to be used by much more users Web-cyradm is the Webinterface that allows you to perform the administrative tasks to your mailsystem This Screenshot shows the domain-administration part of Web-cyradm. Web-cyradm is written in PHP, which is often installed on webservers. Time to set up Web-cyradm takes just a few minutes. At the time being, Web-cyradm does not support different roles for its users. So you cannot use it as a frontend for your
