This How To shows you how to create and configure a custom least-privileged service account to run an ASP.NET Web application. By default, an ASP.NET application on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6.0 runs using the built-in Network Service account. In production environments, you usually run your application using a custom service account. By using a custom service account, you can audit and authorize your application separately from others, and your application is protected from any changes made to the privileges or permissions associated with the Network Service account. To use a custom service account, you must configure the account by running the Aspnet_regiis.exe utility with the -ga switch, and then configure your application to run in a custom application pool that uses the custom account’s identity.

Depending on how your server is set up, you may or may not have Microsoft IIS installed. IIS is a mandatory install if you want to use Helm. It is used to host the Helm website, and will also host any websites you wish to create.
Note:- These are guidelines only. We will not provide support for IIS or any other 3rd party applications directly.
1.) Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components.
2.) Double-click Application Server.
3.) You will see that Internet Information Services (IIS) is not checked. Check the box. Press “OK”.

To install PHP on an NT/2000/XP Server running IIS 4 or newer, follow these instructions. You have two options to set up PHP, using the CGI binary (php.exe in PHP 4, or php-cgi.exe in PHP 5) or with the ISAPI module. In either case, you need to start the Microsoft Management Console (may appear as ‘Internet Services Manager’, either in your Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack branch or the Control Panel=>Administrative Tools under Windows 2000/XP). Then right click on your Web server node (this will most probably appear as ‘Default Web Server’), and select ‘Properties’.

BlueDragon 7.0.1 for the Microsoft .NET Framework (commonly referred to as BlueDragon.NET) allows CFML applications to be deployed on Windows servers running the Microsoft .NET Framework, the Microsoft IIS web server, and ASP.NET. DCOM provides a standardized basis for creating and integrating distributed software components. External client applications can use DCOM as infrastructure for their communication with SAP servers, to access R/3 components. With this technology, R/3 components such as BAPIs or remote function modules appear as COM objects and use the runtime environment of the Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS). The DCOM Connector provides a C++ Template Library developed by SAP, which you can use to create COM objects from business objects of the R/3 system and administer them. The two scenarios below describe the different uses of the DCOM Connector: PC Client Applications
