  • Installation Instruction BMW Parts and Accessories – Park Distance Control (PDC), front and rear BMW 7 Series (E 38)
  • These installation instructions are only for use within the BMW dealer organisation. The installation time is approx. 5.5 hours but may vary depending on the condition of the car and the equipment in it. Specialist knowledge of BMW cars is required for the installation work. All work is to be completed using the latest BMW – Repair instructions, – Circuit diagrams, – Service manuals, – Work instructions, – Diagnostics manuals In a rational sequence using the prescribed tools (special tools) and pursuant to the relevant health and safety regulations. General notes All work is shown for a left-hand drive model. On right-hand drive models some of the work must be completed the opposite way round. If the specified PIN slots are already in use, bridges, double crimps or parallel end stops are to be used. Deburr drilled holes and treat them with the anti-corrosive action prescribed by BMW. Safety notes To prevent faults, make sure that you use the exact installation routes for the wiring harnesses in the car. Under no circumstances should you use so-called “Scotchlock connectors” since they may cause faults in the vehicle’s electrical system. If you have no alternative but to use these connectors, only the designs approved by BMW may be used. Ensure that the cables are not kinked or damaged when they are installed in the car since otherwise, this too may cause faults which then require a great deal of work for their localisation. The costs incurred as a result of this will not be reimbursed by BMW. • How to Use StreamSpin for Creating Your Own Services
  • The center for Data-intensive Systems (Daisy) at Aalborg University is currently working on a large project in which they combine the two worlds of Web 2.0 and Location-based services. The project known as the StreamSpin-project currently employs numerous developers. Furthermore it is planned that students will have the opportunity to develop their own services for the system during the coming semesters in order to mature the system and its service deliveries. It is the overall purpose of the StreamSpin project to be for Location-based services what YouTube is for video . Thereby, the vision is that virtually anybody should be able to create their own services and publish them to the masses or limit the publication to close friends. The motivation behind the project is the vision that the web now is becoming more and more mobile. Hence the need for Location-based services will grow massively in the near future. People using mobile phones with GPS or other positioning systems will have the possibility of knowing their position at a given time. This opens up for numerous advantageous scenarios in which a user of a mobile phone could retrieve information based on position, time and a customizable pro le. Systems that displays this behavior already exist, however the StreamSpin-project proposes that services are pushed to the mobile device rather than requested by the mobile device itself. The aim of this short paper is to cover the most important issues involving the creation of services for the StreamSpin-project. This includes understanding the StreamSpin server structure and
  • AOP Support for C#
  • This paper summarizes the novel features of our AOP extensions to C# language [3]. It also reports the experience gained while restructuring and enhancing a shared source compiler. Here we describe a general global view of this project, named CAMEO. The initial aim of CAMEO is to implement AspectJ like language support enabling aspect-oriented modularization in C#. Other goals include support for structural aspects that harness Common Language Runtime (CLR) features [1], incremental or partial aspect weaving, and configurable advice weaving. A preliminary source-to-source translator implementation is available for internal use. We intend to evolve this framework for exploring new ideas in AOP and metaprogramming. Determining a collection of joinpoints in the base source involves performing a detailed control flow analysis of the code. Conducting flow analysis directly on the source text is an expensive operation in most practical cases. Since traditional compilers routinely parse source text and build Abstract Syntax Graphs (ASGs), it makes sense to make use of available infrastructure from implemented translators. In the CAMEO project, we counted on Microsoft’s Shared Source Common Language Infrastructure (SSCLI) implementation to meet these requirements. SSCLI [2] is an implementation of Microsoft’s CLR architecture. Apart from the implementation of a Virtual Execution Engine and host of other tools, it includes C++ implementation of a C# language translator. The latter is a complete implementation of the ECMA standard [3] and its source code is available for modifications only for academic and research purposes. The SSCLI provided compiler generates Microsoft’s Intermediate Language (MSIL) code. Because

  • Silverlight 2 Beta 2 Tutorial - Introducing Expression Blend For Silverlight Developers
  • Beginning with version 2.5 (currently in Preview Edition) building Silverlight 2 applications, and especially assembling the User Interface components such as items from the toolbox, and layout controls, is easier than ever. A Note on This Tutorial. The history of the material for this tutorial is that Scott Guthrie wrote a terrific introduction to this material at the end of February, which he gave me permission to turn into a series of videos, currently (or soon to be) available on Silverlight.NET. This tutorial completes the circle by building on the videos and integrating the material into the Silverlight Tutorial series. The project we’re setting out to build is very similar to the Silverlight chat service built by ScottGu, and is shown in Figure 5-1 The Solution Files Take a look in the upper right hand corner. The solution, project and other files created by Blend are identical to the files created by Visual Studio 2008. In fact; there is no exporting/importing between the two; you can open both development environments on the same files simultaneously and they will both work perfectly. Chat Application – First Steps Begin by switching to design view, and then hold the control key and use the mouse wheel to zoom out so that you can see the entire grid. If your mouse doesn’t have a wheel, you can zoom by picking a value (or filling in an arbitrary value) at the bottom of the design window or by using the menu choices View?Zoom In and View?Zoom Out You can move

  • BMW 5-Series (E39) Audio System Upgrades Manual
  • Our first upgrade will address the biggest shortcoming of all the stock BMW sound systems, BASS, or lack thereof. Use of an a/d/s/ AC502 remote subwoofer level control will allow us to control the volume of our subwoofer from the front of the car. How convenient! This way, we can match the bass level to our own personal taste or to compensate for bass masked by road or wind noise. • Creating Maya 4.x Blend Shapes for MOTIONBUILDER Tutorial
  • Maya Blend Shapes Guidelines • Do not use identical names. Since the FBX plugin is not case sensitive, conflicts may occur when merging back using the same letters for a given name (for example: big, Big, BIG are all the same). Use different names. ! Note: When renaming, use the “prefix hierarchy names” (>modify) command in Maya to rename a complete hierarchy. • Do not delete the target models from your scene until the file has been exported in FBX format. The FBX plugin needs these models to export the Blend Shapes. • Use the default options (“Origin:Local”, and “Check topology:On”), except for the deformation order option. In the Advanced tab, use the “Front of chain” and not the “Default” option. • Use only one Blend Shape input per object. Do not use the “Create Blend Shapes” command more than once on the same object. • Generate the Blend Shapes on each geometry separately. Do not use the entire group (like the head group), but instead use each part of the head separately. Good examples: - Face_base with happy_face_target and sad_face_target - Teeth_base with happy_teeth_target and sad_teeth_target Bad examples: - head_group with head_group_happy and head_group_sad Using the group method will transfer into MOTIONBUILDER, but will generate duplicate Blend Shapes in MOTIONBUILDER.
