1.8T Boost Control System

The 1.8T BCS (Boost Control System) is designed to work with all throttle-by-wire Audi and Volkswagen 1.8T engines. Compatible models include the A4, Beetle, Passat, Jetta, Golf and GTI. The BCS provides user adjustability of maximum boost. At the minimum setting, the boost is held to the stock level of 6 PSI and the car will drive exactly like a stock car. As the boost setting is increased, the allowable boost is increased in precise increments. At the maximum setting, the boost is allowed to reach 14.5 PSI. This boost increases horsepower by 30 hp and the low-end torque is increased by 45 ft-lbs. The BCS includes a ten segment, three color LED boost gauge that reads in 1.5 PSI increments from 1 to 14.5 PSI. The display is electronically filtered to provide a smooth reading.

The popular fifth-generation Sentra sedan, introduced in 2001, gets further styling tweaks and added convenience features to keep it competitive in the econocar/ pocket-rocket segment. For 2004, the Sentra receives redesigned front and rear fascias and a newly styled hood. Interior upgrades on the 2.5S, SE-R, and SE-R Spec V include an enhanced Rockford Fosgate sound system and a trip computer as standard equipment, while the SE-R Spec V gets Skyline-style sport bucket seats. Power choices remain a fuel-thrifty 126-hp, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine in the 1.8 and 1.8S models and, for a good deal more oomph, a 165-hp, 2.5-liter four-banger in the 2.5S and SE-R. But for a wilder ride we recommend the more powerful and responsive 175-hp, 2.5-liter version in the wicked little SE-R Spec V, which also gets a new brake package with quicker-stopping Brembo front discs.

Life Forms only animates segmented models. When you build a model that will be animated, consider how it is going to move. This helps you to determine how many segments the models should have and where the pivot points of each segment should be. There are no restrictions to the model’s zero-angle position ( the position where all joints have no rotation values. ) Life Forms can animate and apply motion to models with any zero-angle positions. However, when building a segmented model ensure that:

Hyundai’s latest Sonata has stepped on a few toes in the large car segment. Externally the new V6 is almost identical to its four cylinder sibling –dual tailpipes being the only clue to the extra power. Yes, they share the same attractive Euro style body, but have decidedly different personas. DISLIKES Small front seats Light coloured trim marks easily well shaped, fine for a long trip, and the centre armrest is a welcome bonus. But anyone riding in the middle might feel short-changed by the lack of support. ERGONOMICS Functional and uncluttered, the dash layout is a model of simplicity. Large instruments face the driver, with the high set audio controls just to the left. Three rotary switches look after all of your air conditioning functions. The boot and fuel cap releases are tucked away under the driver’s armrest. Thanks to its large windscreens, front and rear vision is very good, making manoeuvring easy.
