However, most tag-suggestion systems recommend words that are highly correlated with the existing tag set, and thus add little information to a user’s contribution. This paper describes a means to determine the ambiguity of a set of (user-contributed) tags and suggests new tags that disambiguate the original tags. We introduce a probabilistic framework that allows us to find two tags that appear in different contexts but are both likely to co-occur with the original tag set. If such tags can be found, the current description is considered “ambiguous” and the two tags are recommended to the user for further clarification. In contrast to previous work, we only query the user when information is most needed and good suggestions are available. We verify the efficacy of our approach using geographical, temporal and semantic metadata, and a user study. We built our system using statistics from a large (100M) database of images and their tags.
Tags are an important part of today’s multimedia databases. They are often contributed by users when they submit an image or video and form a key part of the search experience. Content-based multimedia search remains out of reach, and a simple tag like “Tokyo” provides more information than we can possibly glean from content-based algorithms. Thus, making it as easy as possible for users to enter tags alongside multimedia content is important. This work addresses the problem of eliciting high-quality tagsMicrosoft PowerPoint - Nokia N70_DataSheetNokia N70. Battery BL-5C. Compact Charger AC-3. Charging Adapter CA-44. Download manualThe A/UX Web Server Deployment Guide A SnakeOil Labs White Paper If you’re one of the four, five, maybe even six people
out there on the Internet who want to set up an A/UX web server, then this guide is for you. To make things simpler, this document follows a few standard conventions. Text in Courier is reserved for terminal sessions. This provides a sample walkthrough of commands to type and their usual responses. For example: A larger courier font is used to denote relevant commands mid-sentence, such as newconfig, in order to separate the command from the rest of the text. File and path names, such as /etc/inittab, are in bold. Individual references to filenames without paths like inittab aren’t.
Note:
The famous Mac Bomb symbol is used to denote a tip or note. Small notes like these provide hints and tips as well as insight drawn from bitter experience.
Make sure you read them!
One small point; there are many instances where command lines are preceded by either a # or $ symbol. The # refers to the root user and the $ symbol refers to a regular user. In either case, don’t type the symbol. To make matters even more confusing, most of the configuration files used in this guide use leading # symbols to define comments. It’s confusing but it’s the UNIX convention, not ours. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it.

Download manualDeveloping WebLogic Server ApplicationsThis document is written for application developers who want to build WebLogic Server e-commerce applications using the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) from Sun Microsystems. It is assumed that readers know Web technologies, object-oriented programming techniques, and the Java programming language.
WebLogic Server applications are created by Java programmers, Web designers, and application assemblers. Programmers and designers create modules that implement the business and presentation logic for the application. Application assemblers assemble the modules into applications that are ready to deploy on WebLogic Server.
WebLogic Server implements Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) version 1.3 technologies (http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/index.html). J2EE is the standard platform for developing multi-tier Enterprise applications based on the Java programming language. The technologies that make up J2EE were developed collaboratively by Sun Microsystems and other software vendors, including BEA Systems.
WebLogic Server J2EE applications are based on standardized, modular components. WebLogic Server provides a complete set of services for those modules and handles many details of application behavior automatically, without requiring programming. J2EE defines module behaviors and packaging in a generic, portable way, postponing run-time configuration until the module is actually deployed on an application server.
J2EE includes deployment specifications for Web applications, EJB modules, Enterprise applications, client applications, and connectors. J2EE does not specify how an application is deployed on the target server—only how a standard module or application is packaged. For each module type, the specifications define the files required and their location in the directory structure.
Note: Because J2EE is backward compatible, you can still run J2EE 1.3 applicationsMaya Tutorial How to Create Photo Realistic 3D Models PDF with Screenshot This Tutorial shows how to create photo realistic 3D models from a digital image prcessed in Photoshop.
