  • FreeLinc Adapter Series Adapter User Manual
  • FreeLinc products to enhance your two-way radio communications. Each FreeLinc adapter is compatible with other FreeLinc communications accessories that use cutting-edge LibertyLink™ wireless technology from Aura Communications, Inc. Based on nearfield magnetic induction communication (NFMC), LibertyLink supports mobility, freedom-of-motion, exceptional battery life, audio integrity, ease-of-use, durability, secure communications and comfort. LibertyLink is the first technology of its kind to be implemented into practical voice and audio solutions. FreeLinc communications accessories operate in a “bubble” that envelops one to three meters of each user’s personal space, and is – by the laws of physics – fully private and secure. The result is an easier to use, lower cost system that makes far more e?cient use of power and bandwidth than conventional RF systems. By limiting the range and bandwidth to only what the application requires, the product achieves a very substantial savings in power. Signals are designed to propagate only within a twometer range, enabling a huge power and battery advantage (up to six times) over standard RF technology. Thank you for choosing FreeLinc. • C# Coding Style Guide
  • This document may be read as a guide to writing robust and reliable programs. It focuses on programs written in C#, but many of the rules and principles are useful even if you write in another programming language. 2 File Organization 2.1 C# Sourcefiles Keep your classes/files short, don't exceed 2000 LOC, divide your code up, make structures clearer. Put every class in a separate file and name the file like the class name (with .cs as extension of course). This convention makes things much easier. 2.2 Directory Layout Create a directory for every namespace. (For MyProject.TestSuite.TestTier use MyProject/ TestSuite/TestTier as the path, do not use the namespace name with dots.) This makes it easier to map namespaces to the directory layout. 3 Indentation 3.1 Wrapping Lines When an expression will not fit on a single line, break it up according to these general principles: - Break after a comma. - Break after an operator. - Prefer higher-level breaks to lower-level breaks. - Align the new line with the beginning of the expression at the same level on the previous line Download pdf C# Coding Style Guide

  • BRL-CAD Tutorial Series: Volume I – Overview and Installation Manual
  • Now comprising over one-half million lines of C code, BRL-CAD has become a powerful constructive solid geometry (CSG) modeling package that has been licensed at over 2,000 sites throughout the world. It contains a large collection of tools, utilities, and libraries including an interactive geometry editor, raytracing and generic framebuffer libraries, a network-distributed image-processing and signal-processing capability, and a customizable embedded scripting language. In addition, BRL-CAD simultaneously supports dual interaction methods, one using a command line and one using a graphical user interface (GUI). A particular strength of the package lies in its ability to build and analyze realistic models of complex objects using a relatively small set of “primitive shapes.” To do this, the shapes are manipulated by employing the basic Boolean operations of union, subtraction, and intersection. Another strength of the package is the speed of its raytracer, which is one of the fastest in existence. Finally, BRL-CAD users can accurately model objects on scales ranging from the subatomic through the galactic and get “all the details, all the time.” Download PDF for BRL-CAD Tutorial Series: Volume I – Overview and Installation Manual

  • Rails HOW-TO: Authenticating with WebAuth
  • Having authenticated with WebAuth using an SSO username and password, the PHP script is executed. As you can see, the PHP script is passed a parameter which is the URL of a login page of a Rails application. The only thing the PHP script does is to redirect to that URL passing a parameter that is a base64 encoded string: https://www.abcd.ox.ac.uk:8113/apps/contacts/login?id=base64string The id parameter is the base64 encoded version of an encryption of the username and the current date and time. The login method of the Rails application looks at the id parameter, decodes it and then unencrypts it. So it now has the username and the date and time. In order to avoid replay attacks, the Rails application checks that the date and time refers to a recent date and time. It also checks that the username is in a list of valid usernames. If both these tests are passed, it sets a session variable (session[:user_id]) to "OK"; otherwise, it is set to "BAD". Having authenticated, subsequent methods of the Rails application are executed in the usual way, i.e., by using the URL of the method, e.g.: https://www.abcd.ox.ac.uk:8113/apps/contacts/add We need to alter the code of the controller of the Rails application so that it has a call of before_filter. This call can ensure that a method called authenticate is called before any method of the Rails application is called. The authenticate method can be similar to the authenticate method introduced in the document Rails HOW-TO: Apache and Basic Authentication, which is available
