This document is intended for Mac users that want to make discs of homebrew games and emulators working on their Dreamcast system. Currently, there is a rather easy way to do this, but I see the same questions over and over again with methods that in my opinion are somewhat dated (though still useful if there is no other option). The world of DC emulation and homebrews can be confusing to the new user even if you are on a PC.

This white paper provides step by step instructions to apply Microsoft patches with Lieberman
Software’s Task Scheduler Pro.
1. Applying Microsoft Patches with Task Scheduler Pro
The MSBlast worm, also called the RPC/DCOM vulnerability, requires that you install a specific version of the patch for each platform you are patching. Task Scheduler Pro allows enables you to copy the appropriate platform specific patch to each of your systems, execute the patch in an unattended manner, and reboot the systems remotely without any further action on your part. Task Scheduler Pro allows administrators to deploy patches across their enterprise much faster than distribution systems like Microsoft SMS. Patch tasks can be created on all of your systems simultaneously, and they begin executing on your systems almost immediately. In a virus outbreak situation, speed is essential.

This paper discusses the hardware foundations of the cryptosystem employed by the Xbox TM video game console from Microsoft. A secret boot block overlay is buried within a system ASIC. This secret boot block decrypts and verifies portions of an external FLASH-type ROM. The presence of the secret boot block is camouflaged by a decoy boot block in the external ROM. The code contained within the secret boot block is transferred to the CPU in the clear over a set of high-speed busses where it can be extracted using simple custom hardware. The paper concludes with recommendations for improving the Xbox security system. One lesson of this study is that the use of a high-performance bus alone is not a sufficient security measure, given the advent of inexpensive, fast rapid prototyping services and high-performance FPGAs.

To control the server, a MotionNode user interface is provided, and can be accessed through a web browser.

Enter the Matrix is just another example of a movie franchise that had to have a game sequel. Unfortunately, it was slated to appear in the same time with the movie in question, having the producers rush the development and finally releasing a somewhat unfinished game on the market (and if you were to ask me, a bad looking one at that). The game doesn’t follow the adventures of Neo as we might have expected, but in terms, it follows the story of a small character, at least in the movie and it’s used as a pretext for filling some of the gaps in the original script.

The Caribbean Islands are not just the spot for blooming tourism and great music. Back in the 17th century, these islands were also the home of pirates. Well, once you’ve been El Presidente, you can safely stir things up a little by becoming the Pirate King. In Tropico 2: Pirate Cove you give up on plantations and high educated workers for your factories and concentrate on plundering the wealthy merchant ships that come too close to your secret island. It’s still the Caribbean, it’s pretty much the same game engine, but it’s a totally different story and definitely another gaming experience.
