JADE (Java Agent DEvelopment framework) Introductions in PDFA Hands-on Intensive Workshop on agent development using JADE framework, organized by the Gerstner Laboratory. JADE (Java Agent DEvelopment framework) is runtime environment for development of FIPA compliant inter- operable agents. Currently in version 3.0, JADE is the most widely used agent development framework. JADE is open source, distributed under Lesser General Public License. The course is intended for people familiar with Java programming language and the basic concepts of multi-agent systems, who want to start developing agents using JADE. No prior experience with agent programming is needed. Each course participant receives a CD with JADE in- stallation, documentation and course material (slides and example source codes).
The course takes place in computer classroom with every participant having own computer (option to use personal laptop provided). We recommend pair programming. Every topic is covered by sample source codes, en- couraging the participants to exercise the knowledge y immediately playing around with the concepts. 1. Remove a-pillar trim by locating upper seam and prying outward. Use clean hands and avoid using any type of tool to pry. Once a small opening is created at the pillar top, use some force to release the 4 plastic mounting clips. With a-pillar cover pulled out, lift upwards and remove completely.
2. On a clean surface, lay out gauge pod and a-pillar trim. There will be a faint imprint on the a-pillar trim outlining the top of the dashboard. The bottom (plastic) edge of the gauge pod should be positioned to follow this line and rest on the dashboard. The dashed line in the drawing below represents the top of the dashboard.
3. Line edges up and wrap the fabric tabs over the a-pillar trim. Use sharp scissors to precisely notch the tabs where any protrusions of the pillar trim exist. Use masking tape to secure fabric tabs during test fitment. With gauge pod positioned, test fit the assembled gauge pod and a-pillar trim to check fitment. Adjust as required.
4. Once you have the pod positioned correctly, begin to mark the a-pillar trim for drilling.* See diagrams below for approximate positioning of the hole to be drilled. The hole should be at least 3/8” in diameter to accommodate tubing and wiring. A. The port setting defaults will work for most users. Select a different COM port number if the port your cable is connected to is not COM 1.
B. Address read command - specifies the command to be used for reading ECU memory data. Some ECUs with daughter boards use command other than the default.
C. ECU Id - specifies target ECU. Engine ECU Id varies between regions and models. This is usually set to EF
D. Find ECU -This button tests for active ECU IDs.
E. 96 model z32 - Check the box if your car is a 1996 model year 300ZX. This setting allows for communication with 96 model 300zx OBDII complaint cars via the Consult I port. You may also have to check this box if your ECU is later than 1996 in some other models.
F. Auto Connect to ECU - This checkbox should be selected if you want NDS to connect automatically to your ECU each time the program starts.
