Clay Render with WiresIn this tutorial, you will learn how to render out any object with a clay material, and how to add wireframe. For this tutorial you will need a novice to intermediate knowledge about 3DS Max, or your preferred 3d application. In this tutorial, I will be using 3DS Max 9, so if you have an older version or if you are using a different 3d application, your button configuration maybe slightly different.
To begin, open 3D Max or your preferred 3D application. Insert your model or any object that you wish to give this effect to. For this tutorial, I will use a simple primitive, a sphere. Once you have the object that you wish to apply the effect to in the scene, open your Material Editor by pushing the keyboard shortcut or "Hotkey" M, or click on the four spheres in the main toolbar.
Once you have the Material Editor open, select the Diffuse color, and then change it to a light brown color. Double click the color in the Diffuse slot. The Color Selector : Diffuse Color Menu with pop up. Now, choose a nice light brown color. I used R: 220; G: 205; B: 165.

This is more than enough to scare off the average student.
Fortunately, there is an easy way to make Word convert documents into web friendly HTML pages. HTML pages can be viewed in any modern web browser and students do not need Microsoft Word™ to view them. This document covers creating a web friendly Word document, converting the word document into a web friendly HTML file, and uploading that file to a Blackboard Vista course.
A guide to creating web friendly Word documents
Most basic word documents translate very well into web friendly HTML files with little to no modification, but there are a few guidelines that it helps to follow while writing the Word doc.
Some Word elements translate easily into web pages. Try to use these elements to format your pages as much as possible. Elements that work well for the web include:
• Alignment (left, right, centered).
• Bold and italics. Try to avoid using underline if possible.

Even though GtkTreeView is slightly harder to master than its predecessors, it is so much more powerful and flexible that most application developers will not want to miss it once they have come to know it.
The purpose of this chapter is not to provide an exhaustive documentation of GtkTreeView - that is what the API documentation is for, which should be read alongside with this tutorial. The goal is rather to present an introduction to the most commonly-used aspects of GtkTreeView, and to demonstrate how the various GtkTreeView components and concepts work together. Furthermore, an attempt has been made to shed some light on custom tree models and custom cell renderers, which seem to be often-mentioned, but rarely explained.
Developers looking for a quick and dirty introduction that teaches them everything they need to know in less than five paragraphs will not find it here. Color Correction
Photoshop allows you to easily correct problems in color quality and tonal range created during the original photography or during the image’s scan. You can also correct problems in composition and sharpen the overall focus of the image. Retouching techniques vary greatly depending on how the image will be used. There is also much to be understood about image resolution. For more information about image resolution you should refer to the Photoshop manual or attend the Academic Computing Services workshop Graphics Formats and Scanning.
Color correction tools
All Adobe Photoshop color correction tools work basically the same way: by mapping existing ranges of pixel values to new ranges of pixel values. The difference between the tools is the amount of control you have.
For example, the Brightness/Contrast command (found in the Image>Adjust menu) makes the same adjustment to every pixel in the selection or image. Therefore, if you increase the brightness value by 30, 30 is added to the brightness value of every pixel. For more specific control of that, however, Photoshop provides the Levels menu that allows precise adjustment using the variables of highlights, shadows, and midtones. The Curves menu replaces high-end color correction systems and lets you isolate 16 ranges of pixel values between pure highlight and pure shadow.
