When Tim Berners-Lee at CERN invented the modern Web, it was intended as a system that allowed static documents to be stored and linked on a network- based system. The goal of the .NET Framework design guidelines is to encourage consistency and predictability in public APIs while enabling Web and cross- language integration. It is strongly recommended that you follow these design guidelines when developing classes and components that extend the .NET Framework. Inconsistent design adversely affects developer productivity. Development tools and add-ins can turn some of these guidelines into de facto prescriptive rules, and reduce the value of nonconforming components. Nonconforming components will function, but not to their full potential.
These guidelines are intended to help class library designers understand the trade-offs between different solutions. There might be situations where good library design requires that you violate these design guidelines. Such cases should be rare, and it is important that you provide a solid justification for your decision. The section provides naming and usage guidelines for types in the .NET Framework as well as guidelines for implementing common design patterns.
Relationship to the Common Type System and the Common Language Specification
The Common Type System is the model that defines the rules the common language runtime follows when declaring, using, and managing types. The common type system establishes a framework that enables cross-language integration, type safety, and high-performance code execution. It is the raw material from which you can build class libraries.
The Common Language Specification (CLS) defines a set of programmatically verifiable rules that governs the interoperation of types authored in differentStatistical analysis using Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft Excel spreadsheets have become somewhat of a standard for data storage, at least for smaller data sets. This, along with the program often being packaged with new computers, naturally encourages its use for statistical analyses. This is unfortunate, since Excel is most decidedly not a statistical package.
Now, here are the values obtained when using the regression program available in the Analysis Toolpak of Microsoft Excel 2002 (the same results came from earlier versions of Excel; I will say something about Excel 2003 later).
Each of the nine numbers given above is incorrect! The slope estimate has the wrong sign, the estimated standard errors of the coefficients are zero (making it impossible to construct t–statistics), and the values of R2, F and the regression sum of squares are negative! It’s obvious here that the output is garbage (even Excel seems to know this, as the #NUM!’s seem to imply), but what if the numbers that had come out weren’t absurd — just wrong? Unless Excel does better at addressing these computational problems, it cannot be considered a serious candidate for use in statistical analysis.

However, most tag-suggestion systems recommend words that are highly correlated with the existing tag set, and thus add little information to a user’s contribution. This paper describes a means to determine the ambiguity of a set of (user-contributed) tags and suggests new tags that disambiguate the original tags. We introduce a probabilistic framework that allows us to find two tags that appear in different contexts but are both likely to co-occur with the original tag set. If such tags can be found, the current description is considered “ambiguous” and the two tags are recommended to the user for further clarification. In contrast to previous work, we only query the user when information is most needed and good suggestions are available. We verify the efficacy of our approach using geographical, temporal and semantic metadata, and a user study. We built our system using statistics from a large (100M) database of images and their tags.
Tags are an important part of today’s multimedia databases. They are often contributed by users when they submit an image or video and form a key part of the search experience. Step 1. (Optional) Preparation prior to fitting
Before you start removing your old parts you may want to consider preventing your new parts from corroding like the existing ones. You could smear a protective oil or grease over the exposed metal and rub it over or you could like myself spray paint the metal parts.
Step 2. Draw around the Bonnet Pin
Open bonnet and secure with the bonnet stay. It is important that you refit your new bonnet pin in the exact same position as the old one, so carefully with a pencil or dry marker, draw around the bonnet pin.
Step 3. Removing Bonnet Pin
Using a ratchet and a 10mm socket, slowly start to unscrew the two bolts holding the bonnet pin to the bonnet. If the bolts are rusty try to use some WD40 to help penetrate the rust.
Step 4. Removing Air Intake Pipe
Carefully remove the air intake pipe over the radiator using the 10mm socket on the three bolts highlighted below.
Step 5. Unhooking the Bonnet Release Cable & Removing Lock Once the air intake pipe has been removed, you should now be able to see between the slam panel and the radiator. Carefully looking between and you’ll see the bonnet release cable.
