1 - Door trim
Remove screw cap - 5 - Remove screw - 4 - (1x).
Unclip inner and outer connecting pieces. .
Lift door trim about 20 cm upward and remove from door.
Detach release cable for interior door handle
Disconnect electrical connectors
Clip locators - 3 - (7x) must be clipped in place when installing door trim.

Detaching release cable
Pull release cable - 1 - out of guide - 2 - and detach.
Note:
When installing, make sure hook - 3 - is facing upward.
Disconnecting electrical connectors
Disconnect harness connectors at item - 2 - .
Removing screw cap
Insert pin - 2 - (max. dia. 2 mm) through hole on bottom part of switch trim.
Applying pin - 2 - press tab - 3 - slightly up and at the same time turn screw cap - 1 - in direction of - arrow

Fitting itructio for Geartronics GPI-4 Suzuki Hayabusa Gear position indicator The gear indicator comes configured for use with the OEM Suzuki gear position seor, and is fitted with standard connecto to plug directly into the Suzuki wiring harness. The unit also features the so-called ‘TRE' modification, which is designed to defeat the gear dependent mapping strategy of the Suzuki ECU. I followed their directions, the help I found on the Toast web site was unclear, and I downloaded someone else s instructions and just couldn’t do it.
While I’m not a computer expert, I have used Mac’s since (this dates me) 1985 and can probably do better troubleshooting and mechanical work than the geek that charges $75 an hour. So I poked around, put together the pieces of the puzzle and burned a bootable Mac OS CD. While I was doing that, I wrote this to help anyone else who was as frustrated as I was.
