A new model joins the Accent lineup this year the Accent 5 a four door GL with a hatchback instead of a traditional trunk. This front wheel drive subcompact is powered by a 4 cylinder 1 6 litre engine that comes with either manual or automatic transmission. Interior and trunk Because the car is low to the ground tall people will find it somewhat difficult to get into. Once seated they will find the front seats quite comfortable especially the driver s seat with its two adjustment wheels that make it easy to find just the right driving position. Getting out of the rear seat is harder than getting into it foot room is limited and the doors open on a tight angle Since headroom is limited it seats two adults comfortably only if they are of no more than medium height.

Introduced in the 2005 model-year, the current generation of the A6 is relatively unchanged this year, apart from the fact that the V8 now develops 15 extra horsepower and that an S6 version with a 435-hp V10 is available. The Avant, as Audi names its station wagon models, is offered with a 3.2L V6 and Quattro full-time all-wheel-drive.

As the vehicle is a bit low, front as well as rear access is relatively easy. The front seats are very comfortable thanks to such features as adjustable height and lumbar support. With tilt and telescoping steering, drivers easily find a very good driving position. Legroom is good, while headroom with the sunroof is tight for tall individuals.

Honda claims the cabin of the CRV now contains more than 20 storage bins to accommodate items of various sizes. Rear cargo volume has been significantly increased. The CRV’s controls are particularly well laid out and as a result are very easy to use.

The Peugeot 205 was introduced in the UK in September 1983 as a five-door Hatchback with a transversely-mounted engine and transmission assembly driving the front wheels. The suspension is of front coil springs and rear transverse torsion bars. Three engine sizes were originally available, featuring a chain driven overhead camshaft design mounted directly over the transmission. The GTi was introduced in the Spring of 1984 and was fitted with a belt-driven overhead camshaft engine with a side-mounted transmission. The GTI engine is equipped with an electronically controlled fuel injection system. In October 1984 three-door versions became available, with an X series designation, in addition to the three-door GTI. Van versions were introduced in June 1985, together with the limited edition Lacoste, based on the GT version. In September 1985 the XT was introduced, being a three-door version of the GT, and at the same time the 954 cc XL three-door was introduced, having a higher specification than the XE. The 1580 cc Automatic was introduced in April 1986 at the same time as the Cabriolet CTI. The XS replaced the XT in July 1986, at which time the limited edition Junior, based on the XE, became available. The 1.9 GTI was introduced in August 1986, and at the same time dim-dip headlights and rear seat belts were fitted as standard. In December 1987 the new TU engines and MA transmissions were fitted to all except fuel injection, diesel and automatic models. Latest models feature single- and multi-point fuel injection, with full emission control equipment and a sophisticated engine management system.

Powered by a two litre turbocharged diesel engine it features the latest common rail diesel injection technology to maximise power and torque. Fitted with Peugeot’s latest Diesel Particulate Filter the 407 ST HDi reduces emissions to better the Euro Four emission standard for diesels which doesn’t come into force until 2006. DISLIKES Potential to scratch paintwork when loading luggage. Easy to confuse coolant and oil temperature gauges. DESIGN & FUNCTION SPACE & PRACTICALITY Because the 407 HDi shares the same body as its petrol engined cousins, interior space is the same. The 407 provides plenty of interior room and also features a decent sized boot.
