It featured 12 playable factions and an extra 8 non-playable factions. The setting embodied the four centuries from the First Crusade to the Fall of Constantinople (1087 – 1453). These were bloody times in the history of humanity with continuous warfare and strife in Europe. This RTS focuses on the nations in Europe, North Africa and Middle East. This bug in the original Medieval enables the player to give his cavalry unlimited charging bonus. The only problem was that Medieval players were unable to join Viking Invasion multiplayer games and vice-versa. Each node in an overlay network maintains connections with a number of peers, forming a graph upon which a distributed application or service is implemented. If successful, the attacker can mediate most or all communication to and from the victim. Furthermore, by supplying biased neighbor information during normal overlay maintenance, a modest number of malicious nodes can eclipse a large number of correct victim nodes.
This paper studies the impact of Eclipse attacks on structured overlays and shows the limitations of known defenses. We then present the design, implementation, and evaluation of a new defense, in which nodes anonymously audit each other’s connectivity. The key observation is that a node that mounts an Eclipse attack must have a higher than average node degree. We show that enforcing a node degree limit by auditing is an effective defense against Eclipse attacks. Furthermore, unlike most existing defenses, our defense leaves flexibility in the selection of neighboring nodes, thus permitting important overlay optimizations like proximity neighbor selection (PNS).

Capturing student responses when they are questioned can be a powerful tool in influencing the direction of a lesson or the planning of future work. Activote allows the answers of each pupil to be saved for retrieval later - individually or as a class. Results can also be exported to Excel for record keeping and further analysis where appropriate.
Flexibility is key in any learning environment, which is why Activote can be used in several ways. Integrated into Promethean’s software, it can be used ad-hoc, allowing teachers to ask unplanned questions as they occur. However, it also works effortlessly over any application or website.
