  • SEO Myths Dispelled: Flash Video
  • By now, everyone has visited a website that utilizes Flash multimedia within its design. Since 1996, the use of Flash has grown in popularity thanks to its ability to add animation and interactivity to websites. More recently, Flash has become an essential component in the prolific distribution of intrusive "pop-ups," or web-based advertisements. Flash also grants designers the ability to integrate video into web pages, and this has led many within the Web 2.0 space to use Flash to develop rich Internet applications. Many companies, including my own, Denver interactive agency Fusionbox, offer streaming Flash Video Solutions to clients in need of online video. While the inclusion of Flash into websites no doubt enriches the user experience rendering it that much "flashier," search engine optimizers (SEOs) have long been wary of the use of Flash due to the fact that it's supposedly unindexable by the search engines. Key word here: supposedly. As we all know, the search engine game changes daily. If it stayed the same, it wouldn't be called a game. The inherent beauty of it is that no one knows everything. Instead, we're all just players who know something, and we're all moving forward as we try to learn more, keeping up with developments happening in our space. One such development is the evolution of Flash and the impact it has had on the science of search. Back in the day, Flash files were not indexable by search engines because the content was hidden from the spider's digital “eyes.” The implications

  • Ford Sierra Service and Repair Manuals PDF
  • Ford Sierra was first introduced in late 1982 with the option of seven different engines and four different trim levels. This manual covers the four cylinder in-line petrol engines, but other models in the range are fitted with V6 or diesel engines. The Sierra was introduced by Ford as the successor to the Cortina and initially received a mixed reception as it was one of the first vehicles to make use of the aeroback body style designed to reduce the air drag coefficient to a minimum in the interests of fuel economy. Mechanically the Sierra is similar to the Cortina with the exception of all-round independent suspension. Initially, 1.3, 1.6 and 2.0 litre SOHC carburettor engines were available, with Hatchback and Estate body styles. In late 1984, a 1.8 litre SOHC engine became available and in 1985, a performance orientated 2.0 litre SOHC fuel injection engine was introduced. Towards the end of 1986, the 1.3 litre engine was phased out. In order to fill a gap in the range, a Saloon body style, designated the Sapphire, was introduced in early 1987 and shortly afterwards, a 1.8 litre CVH engine replaced the previously used 1.8 litre SOHC engine throughout the model range. A 1.6 litre CVH engine was introduced in September 1991 to replace the 1.6 litre SOHC engine used previously, this engine being broadly similar to the original 1.8 litre CVH engine which was in turn uprated in March, 1992. A 2.0 litre DOHC (Double OverHead Camshaft) engine was
  • Jetspeed -j2o- The Web 2.0 Desktop for Portlets
  • Jetspeed j2o Desktop is a Web 2.0 solution for portlets. Combining server-side Jetspeed Ajax services with client-side services, j2o is a paradigm shift in the way portlets are viewed and aggregated. The key change here is that Jetspeed 2.0 is a servlet-centric application: every request goes back to the server. The user interfaces experience is driven by HTTP page paradigm. Jetspeed j2o Desktop is a client-side centric solution. The user interface is controlled on the client-side, where it intuitively belongs. Key features of the portal have been moved to the client side: 1. Page Aggregation 2. Customization The server-side does what it does best, model and persistence: 1. Stores the model and user information. Client-side Aggregation Each portlet in its own HTTP request. This request delivers the content for one portlet only. The portlet aggregation process is moved to the client-side. Client-side Customization The server stores the portlet definitions and page information. The client-side provides the tools to customize the user's desktop. Server-side Model The model is stored on the server-side in standard Jetspeed persistence stores. PSML is served to the client-side, where it is in charge of aggregating the page. The Desktop The desktop holds portlets that are displayed to a user. • Creating a Poster in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • This handout will guide you through setting up a poster in PowerPoint, inserting text and images, and preparing the poster for printing. Creating your document A poster created in PowerPoint usually consists of a single slide. Launch Microsoft PowerPoint. PowerPoint will automatically open a blank presentation. To resize the slide, select Page Setup from the File menu. In the dialog box that pops up, select Custom under Slides sized for: Then enter the width and height of your poster, in inches. PowerPoint will automatically set portrait or landscape orientation based on the measurements you enter. The maximum size PowerPoint will allow for a slide is 56”. If you want your poster to be bigger than 56”, create it at half size and then print it at 200% scale. In this example, the desired poster size is 96” wide by 36” high, so it is designed at 48” by 18”. Inserting poster elements Insert text and graphics as you normally would in PowerPoint. Remember that if you are designing your poster at half the printed size, everything on your poster will also be half the printed size. So, if you want your title to be 1.5” high (108 pt), and you are designing your poster at half size, set the font to 54 pt. Inserting a PowerPoint slide You can insert a PowerPoint slide into your poster by saving it as an image. 1. In PowerPoint, select the slide you would like to place. 2. Select Save as from the File menu. Download pdf Creating a Poster in Microsoft PowerPoint

This starts with the first implementation of an SAP System and continues through all modifications of the system to customer requirements by customizing, modification and customer developments. SAP provides the Test Workbench to support customers in this area. From the test planning stage onwards, the Test Organizer in the Test Workbench provides a tool to create a structure of the applications to be tested. Individual test cases can be created when planning is complete. Use the Computer Aided Test Tool [Ext.] (CATT) in the Test Workbench. Test cases can be descriptions for manual tests, or test case scripts which are to be performed automatically. The test cases created can be put in the outline structure created during planning, in the Test Organizer. This provides a constant overview of the progress of test case creation.
