Head and leg room in both the front and the rear seating positions is adequate for most adults. The front bucket seats offer reasonable support and shape, although the cushions could do with some additional bolstering to further improve lateral support. The rear luggage area is quite spacious with the added versatility of a split fold rear seat. A hard plastic finish is used in the cargo area that is practical and easy to clean, but tends to look cheap. One of the first things you’ll notice once seated in the driver’s position of the X-Trail is that all the instruments are located in the centre of the dash, rather than behind the steering wheel. In fact, the entire layout of the dash is rather unusual.
Nissan claims that it is an innovative design, but I found the unconventional positioning of the controls and instruments a little annoying. In particular, all the vents are located below the level of the steering column and failed to blow enough cool air towards your face on a hot day. The handbrake lever felt particularly flimsy and the bold interior trim is certainly not conservative. The X-Trail has quite a robust feel on the road that is typical of many larger four wheel drive vehicles. The all-new 2.5 litre engine delivers strong performance throughout the rev range that is on par with Honda’s new 2.4 litre engine, found in the CRV. This document should give detailed information about the current state of the USB subsystem and its API for USB device drivers. The first section will deal with the basics of USB devices. You will learn about different types of devices and their properties. Going into detail you will see how USB devices communicate on the bus. The second section gives an overview of the Linux USB subsystem [2] and the device driver framework. Then the API and its data structures will be explained step by step. The last section of this document contains a reference of all API calls and their return codes.

In 1994 an alliance of four industrial partners (Compaq, Intel, Microsoft and NEC) started to specify the Universal Serial Bus (USB). The bus was originally designed with these intentions:
- Connection of the PC to the telephone
- Ease-of-use
- Port expansion
The specification (version 1.0) was first released in january 1996 and the latest official version 1.1 was released in september 1998 [4]. The document is still under development and a version 2.0 was announced in 1999. More information and all specification papers can be found in [1]. For a relatively new technology, there are already several different development tools and a platform standard already available. Some of the development tools are still in beta, and as you can guess new ideas are already in the works. This application note is a guide to what tools are available for application development. This application note will be updated as new tools become available.
As of this writing there are a couple of .NET MF platform types available for application development: generic .NET MF boards for embedded systems and Windows® SideShow- compatible devices. SideShow is an application that runs on .NET MF, but it is also a specific standard. The .NET MF device must adhere to the SideShow standard. At a minimum to run SideShow, a device must have an LCD, communications port, and a set of buttons for navigation (up, down, right, and left), selection, menu, and back. The device is simple enough that many .NET MF platforms could run SideShow. OEMs use the .NET Micro Framework porting kit to port .NET MF to a specific device. Porting is a separate development process that we will not cover here. Once the port is complete, application development takes place in Visual Studio.
At a minimum, .NET MF application development requires Visual Studio 2005 or higher and the .NET Micro Framework SDK. SideShow requires some addition tools. The laser cutters can do many things, like cut and engrave (or score). There are some tips for preparing your laser files in AutoCAD at the end of this document. For more information on approved materials the laser cutters can cut and score please refer to the “Laser Resources – Materials and Suppliers” document. General safety information is contained in the “Laser Resources – Materials and Safety” document.
During this tutorial we will be using AutoCAD to print to the laser cutters. There will soon be more tutorials for other programs that will allow raster engraving, like Photoshop.

on your own. Time is precious and this should not wait until you are logged onto the TBH computers.
The first step is to prepare your file by making two new layers, a layer named “Cut” and “Score”. The
laser printer uses settings files based on color; it assigns a certain power and speed setting to certain
colors. The settings that have been created for the laser plotters are this; The “Cut” color is RED (index
color 1) and the “Score” color is GREEN (index color 3).

SpeedTools ZoneBench is a benchmarking application designed to measure the read and write speeds over an entire local storage device. That device can be either logical (such as a disk volume which is actually a RAID array made up of two or more disk drives) or physical (such as your internal ATA disk drive). ZoneBench also has the capability to measure the speed of read-only volumes such as a mounted CD or DVD data disc. ZoneBench does not measure the speed of burning recordable CD/DVD discs, however.
Measuring speeds across an entire device is important because most storage devices do not maintain consistent speeds across their entire storage area. For example, all modern hard disk drives get slower as data is accessed further and further toward the physical end of the drive. Conversely, CD and DVD ROM discs get faster as you access toward the physical end of disc. (This is because CD's and DVD's are read starting at the center of the disc moving progressively outwards.
