  • Understanding European DIN Wiring Manual PDF
  • The main fuse and relay panels on most European cars can be found under the hood. On older vehicles, like this BMW, the panel is protected only by a plastic cover. The panels on more recent models do a better job of protecting fuses and relays from the elements. Many older European vehicles are equipped with these bullet-style fuses. The exposed fuse is wrapped around the ends of the plastic or ceramic fuse body. The fuse is held in place and makes electrical contact via the spring-loaded terminals at its ends. This fuse type can be the source of intermittent electrical problems, especially in damp climates. Download Understanding European DIN Wiring Manual PDF

  • ISOXpress NET Manual Config IsoXpressData Share
  • There is normally no need to manually create and configure the IsoXpressData share. The share is created on the server by the ISOXpress Server Utility application. The only time you must be able to manually create and configure the share is when you have a none-windows server (for example Linux Red Hat). Knowing how to configure the IsoXpressData share manually will be also helpful when troubleshooting the server connection, and for quick configuration when you are temporarily moving the IsoXpressData folder to another computer. Creating ‘IsoXpressData’ share on the server Before creating the share, make sure that your computer is not configured for simple file sharing (you will need the full set of options). To do this, open the Control Panel and double-click on the Folder Options icon. Now, find the IsoXpressData folder that you previously copied to the server, right-click the folder and select Sharing and Security... form the context menu. In the Folder Options dialog that opens, select the View tab, scroll the settings panel to the bottom, and make sure that the Use simple file sharing box is unchecked (uncheck it if it is checked). Click OK to save changes and close the dialog window. Download pdf ISOXpress NET Manual Config IsoXpressData Share
  • How to Import Shapefiles into Microsoft Access
  • This tutorial demonstrates how to import an ESRI shapefile into an Access database using the ArcCatalog. Microsoft Access databases are compatible with ArcGIS, as tables within Access databases can be directly accessed by ArcGIS and added to ArcMap. When geographic boundary files are exported to an Access database, the database can then serve as a personal geodatabase: a container for organizing and storing multiple geographic boundary files and data tables. (see the How to Import Data into Microsoft Access tutorial for importing data tables into Access). If you do not already have an Access database where you intend to export the shapefile to, the first step is to create an empty database file (see the beginning of the How to Import Data into Microsoft Access tutorial for instructions on creating a new database). NOTE – if you are using ArcGIS 9.2, you MUST create the database within Arc Catalog by right-clicking in the table of contents, clicking new, and new personal geodatabase. You cannot import geospatial data into an Access database that was not created with ArcGIS 9.2. If you plan on using the database for just holding and working with tabular data, or you are using an earlier version of ArcGIS (8.3 to 9.1), you can safely create a database within Access, Windows Explorer, or ArcGIS, and it will work as a geodatabase. Once you have a database, the next step is to open the ArcCatalog, and drill down to the directory that has the shapefile. In this example, we are

  • Getting Started with Freeway Shop in a Box
  • Of the many innovations the Internet has brought us, one of the most visible is online shopping. The advantages for merchants are clear lower overheads in both staff and shop space, provision of greater convenience for their customers, 24/7 and international availability of the store, and the ability to compete on a far more level playing field with larger companies. The spread of internet shopping sites is a testament to all of these. However, the implementation of an online store has often been difficult, especially for the individual user. A catalogue needs to be presented allowing customers to select products to buy, these product choices must be tracked (usually in the form of the common shopping cart), and all-importantly, a secure way of processing the customer’s payment details is vital. As is often the case, a demand for services rapidly begets solutions, and there are now numerous companies that offer these services for integration into a website. PayPal, Verisign, and Authorize.Net are well- known companies who provide secure credit card processing services. Many companies who provide shopping carts link with these (and other) credit card processors. One of the better of the shopping carts is Mal’s e-commerce (http://www.mals-e.com) which provides two packages: a free service offering integration with PayPal, NoChex and Paymate, and a premium service offering integration with VeriSign, Authorize.Net and a wide variety of other credit card processors. And now, using the power of Freeway’s Actions technology, you can take advantage of Mal’s shopping cart to quickly create your own online store.
  • AutoCAD Map 3D 2008 Tutorials
  • AutoCAD Map 3D is the leading engineering GIS platform for creating and managing spatial data. AutoCAD Map 3D bridges CAD and GIS by providing direct access to data, regardless of how it is stored, and by enabling the use of AutoCAD® tools for maintaining a broad variety of geospatial information. Using Open Source FDO Data Access Technology, AutoCAD Map 3D natively accesses spatial data stored in relational databases, files, and Web-based services, providing easy management of large geospatial data sets while streamlining entire workflows. The topics in this section describe what you can accomplish with AutoCAD Map 3D. The Autodesk Feature Data Objects (FDO) Data Access Technology helps you work seamlessly on a variety of spatial and nonspatial databases and file formats natively, without the need for translation and risk of data loss. These data sources may contain a single feature type, such as parcel or street centerline, or may contain a complex data model with multiple features and attribute tables. AutoCAD Map 3D automatically resolves differences in scale and coordinate systems. Add items such as the following: ? AutoCAD drawing objects ? Spatial features stored in a relational database, such as Microsoft® SQL Server, Oracle® Spatial, and MySQL ? Features stored in a spatial data file format, such as an ESRI ®SHP or Autodesk® SDF file ? Features stored in middleware, such as ESRI® ArcSDE® ? Raster images, including DEM surfaces that show elevation ? Web-based images from WFS and WMS ? Attribute or point data stored in a spreadsheet or database that can be linked to drawing objects Download pdf
  • Comprehension Expedition LAN Installation Guide
  • In this software product, students and teachers can access the installed Comprehension Expedition™ program with a username and password unique to each user. Teachers can set up their classes, make assignments, and view reports. Students can access their assignments and review their progress or freely explore all skills. This system provides a management tool for teachers and a content portal for students. After logging in, the program will look very different to each of these two types of users. To use the management system effectively, you must set up teacher and student accounts. Once these accounts are created and student assignments made, the management system will collect and store student data and generate informative reports on student progress. During the first installation of the product listed below, the management system is automatically installed. The management system simplifies using and managing the software in the classroom. Installation Note: The installation will require that you have correct network permissions, allowing files to be written and or modified on a Network Share at the server via a mapped. Network Drive from a client workstation. Pre Install Check List 1. Has a Network Share been created or available for the install? 2. Are the Permissions on the share set to Full Control for the software installer’s account? 3. Are the Permissions on the share set to allow read-write-modify for users? 4. Has a mapped drive been created to access the server share on all client systems? Note: Macintosh systems do not use a mapped drive but rather a mounted volume. The steps are the same
