  • The AirCRED documentation set is divided into three parts, each focusing on different users needs. ” AirCRED User s Guide: This step-by-step guide describes how to run the AirCRED Web application; specifically, how to use it to generate credit numbers. ” AirCRED Programmers Manual: This manual details the development of the internal AirCRED calculation models and their deployment as a stand-alone Microsoft VisualStudio.Net Internet-based application. It explains the theory of operation and directions for AirCRED s future development and use. ” AirCRED Project Technical Report: This archived document describes the AirCRED project, the sponsor s requirements, the history of the development, and the groups supporting AirCRED. A Brief Description of AirCRED After you select the season and Clean City of interest, AirCRED prompts you for the following: 1. Number of AFV cars, trucks, and buses acquired in that Clean City area during a fixed prior period, by fuel type; 2. Average miles per day driven by each of these vehicle categories (if daily mileage accrual differs by vehicle age, credits for each cohort vintage can be estimated separately by selecting only that subset of the fleet for computation, which would also apply to items 3 and 4 below); 3. Number of days driven per week by each of these vehicle categories; and 4. Percentage of miles driven on nonpetroleum fuel by each vehicle type. The first results screen indicates the daily emission reduction credits (by pollutant) attributable to the fleet in the most recent ozone or CO season as

  • Laying Out the Foundations Now that you’ve convinced the client that you can create a cool web site to complement the client’s store activity, it’s time to stop celebrating and start thinking about how to put into practice all the promises made to the client. As usual, when you lay down on paper the technical requirements you must meet, everything starts to seem a bit more complicated than initially anticipated. It is strongly recommended to consistently follow an efficient project-management methodology to maximize the chances of the project’s success, on budget and on time. Most project-management theories imply that an initial requirements/specifications document containing the details of the project you’re about to create has been signed by you and the client. You can use this document as a guide while creating the solution, and it also allows you to charge extra in case the client brings new requirements or requests changes after development has started. See Appendix B for more details. To ensure this project’s success, you need to come up with a smart way to implement what you’ve signed the contract for. You want to make your life easy and develop the project smoothly and quickly, but the ultimate goal is to make sure the client is satisfied with your work. Consequently, you should aim to provide your site’s increasing number of visitors with a pleasant web experience by creating a nice, functional, and responsive web site by implementing each one of the three development phases described in the first chapter. The requirements

Building Models for Animation Life Forms only animates segmented models. When you build a model that will be animated, consider how it is going to move. This helps you to determine how many segments the models should have and where the pivot points of each segment should be. Download Life Forms & 3D Studio Max PDF
  • Visual Studio Tools for Office Sample Chapter
  • Now that we have considered the basic pattern of the Office object models, let us consider how developers pattern and build their Office solutions. There are three patterns that most solutions built using Office follow. • Office automation executable • Office add-in • Code behind an Office document An automation executable is a program separate from Office that controls and automates an Office application. An automation executable can be created with development tools such as Visual Studio .NET 2005. A typical example is a stand-alone console application or Windows Forms application that starts up an Office application and then automates it to perform some task. To start a solution built this way, the user of the solution starts the automation executable that will in turn start up the Office application. Unlike the other two patterns, the automation code does not run in the Office process but runs in its own process and talks cross process to the Office process being automated. An add-in is a class in an assembly (DLL) that Office loads and creates when needed. An add-in runs in process with the Office application rather than requiring that a separate process from the Office application is running. To start a solution built this way, the user of the solution starts the Office application associated with the add-in. • Users Guide to the GLUT for Markov Chain Monte Carlo Graphical Interface Version 1.0
  • The GLUT for Markov chain Monte Carlo (Gf(MC) 2 ) library provides a system for visual- izing the variables involved in Markov chain Monte Carlo. It is designed to provide a relatively simple user interface that allows the management of multiple windows which provide di®erent views of the variables involved in the simulation. It is written in C/C++. The window manage- ment system uses calls to Mark Kilgaard’s OpenGL Utility Toolkit (GLUT). GLUT is almost platform independent, so the features of Gf(MC) 2 should work in almost the same way across di®erent platforms (e.g., Macintosh, Windows, Linux, etc.). This document describes the features available to the user of an application that draws upon the Gf(MC) 2 library. The table of contents provides a good overview of those features. A separate document will be prepared for developers interested in incorporating the Gf(MC) 2 library into their own software.
