AutoCAD 2004 Command Aliases TutorialCommand aliases are alternative names for AutoCAD commands. For example you can invoke the LINE command by entering L in command line. There is no need to type the complete name. Some commands have more than one alias. For instance CO and CP are both aliases for COPY. Some command aliases are longer than the command name.
For example RECTANGLE is an alias for RECTANG. A good knowledge of command aliases can increase you speed in entering the commands at keyboard.
Unfortunately the AutoCAD 2004 online help does not contain the list of command aliases. Below, you will find a complete list of command aliases as they are defined in the default AutoCAD Program Parameters file (ACAD.PGP). I will explain this file in a future article.

Download PDFGraphical Interfaces for C#This paper is focused on a pure implementation task rather than in explanation of a general theory or specific graphical algorithms. However, the described solution seems to be interesting and useful to people within a computer graphics community. The reason is simple: there are many people using the OpenGL, Visualization Toolkit [1] (VTK) or DirectX, who want to benefit from .NET Framework features. Simply, it is a runtime environment, which hides the operating system layer to the application and unifies single machine and network environments into one (see [2]). Later, we will describe what a .NET Framework stands for in more detail.
The .NET Framework seemed to be very interesting for people from the area of computer graphics that we decided to implement some of the well-known graphical interfaces in it. The VTK, OpenGL and DirectX have been taken into account. These interfaces are widespread and having them prepared in the .NET Framework, it is easy to extend our old working algorithms with new features and functionality. For example, a developer used to write a code for OpenGL can simply continue with a development with it, build it in .NET Framework and easily add whatever other network functionality he wants.
We have implemented the VTK, OpenGL and DirectX interfaces for use within the .NET Framework. It fulfills well our objectives given at the early beginning. Now, graphics developers can also work with the fully object oriented programming (OOP) language C#. It allows more inheritance, deriving and polymorphism into the computer graphics.

Web 2.0 is a phrase that is coined by O'Reilly Media in 2004, referring to the second generation Internet-based services. Second generation Internet services has become more and interactive and exiting to the present users. With out which it would have been impossible to construct such a small world. An enterprise want to improve there sales by providing users much user friendly and interactive websites.
Web 2.0 has been included with advanced technologies like AJAX, JSF, Visual Studio 2005,Microsoft Volt to Adding Supplementary Plane Characters to a FontVOLT is a free tool available from www.microsoft.com/typography. It is mainly designed to add OpenType features to a font but can also be used to add characters in the supplementary planes, which some font editors cannot yet do. This article focuses on adding the characters beyond the BMP. Unfortunately, VOLT is not available for any platform other than Windows.
Important background information: VOLT uses glyph IDs as the basis for all its operations. A glyph ID is simply a number that tells where in the font the character is found (first, tenth, fifti- eth, whatever). It has nothing to do with a character’s Unicode value or any other meaningful characteristic; it just uniquely identifies each glyph in the font. Such glyph IDs are a part of any TrueType font and are created for you by your font editor. VOLT also stores information in special additional tables that are not part of a standard TT font; these tables allow you to save the font, test it, and return to edit your work. These tables are removed as the last step in creating a finished font.
If you are using FontLab, you need to understand under what circumstances glyph IDs are changed. 1. Remove the oil filter using the SST.
2. Use a clean rag to wipe off the mounting surface on the oil filter body.
3. Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring of the oil filter.
4. Using the SST, tighten the filter according to the installation direction on the side of it or packing box.
5. Start the engine and inspect for oil leakage.
6. Inspect the oil level.

Continuous exposure to USED engine oil has caused skin cancer in laboratory mice. Protect your skin washing with soap and water immediately after working with engine oil.
Hot engines and engine oil are hot, they can cause burns. Turn off the engine and wait until it and engine oil have cooled.
1. Remove the oil pressure switch.
2. Screw the SST into the oil pressure switch installation hole.
3. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
4. Run the engine at the specified speed, and note the gauge readings.
