With Windows Vista, Microsoft shifted from the development path of Windows XP wide open to tampering with zero reaction, and has integrated an anti-piracy infrastructure into the platform. In direct correlation with the Windows Genuine Advantage and the Activation mechanisms, Windows Vista will be able to detect and blacklist non-genuine product keys, crack attempts, and identify the expiration of the initial 30-day grace period. The operating system will react to all by moving first into a non-genuine state and then into Reduced Functionality Mode.

Fiat’s confusing, like-sounding model names, the Brava is the five-door,family-sized hatch back,while Bravo is a 15cm shorter but more sportily slanted three-door variation on the same theme. This “horses-for-courses” approach makes sound sense: the Brava offers more space, five-door practicality and a rounded-off ride for those with a family to consider, while the Bravo’s distinctive-but-different styling and subtly revised suspension and specification cater for less-encumbered buyers seeking a more sporting attraction. Which ever tickles your fancy, though, Fiat has recently given the pair a mild makeover. Staying faithful to the original styling concept, the refettled Fiats are not much different to look at, but every version now offers significant improvements and costs less, or at least no more, than its previous equivalent.

A new model joins the Accent lineup this year the Accent 5 a four door GL with a hatchback instead of a traditional trunk. This front wheel drive subcompact is powered by a 4 cylinder 1 6 litre engine that comes with either manual or automatic transmission. Interior and trunk Because the car is low to the ground tall people will find it somewhat difficult to get into. Once seated they will find the front seats quite comfortable especially the driver s seat with its two adjustment wheels that make it easy to find just the right driving position. Getting out of the rear seat is harder than getting into it foot room is limited and the doors open on a tight angle Since headroom is limited it seats two adults comfortably only if they are of no more than medium height.

The Jetta ushers in two important new features this year, a station wagon and a new, 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder TDI diesel engine. The sedan can also have its front wheels powered by a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder or a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder. The Jetta Wagon cannot be ordered with the 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline engine.

Installation Instructions
1) Before starting the installation make sure the vehicle is turned off and the key is removed.
2) Find a suitable location to mount the BCS. In most cases the unit is installed in a spot below the center console. The unit is held in place with the Velcro that is provided.
3) Remove the dash cover cap located on the top of the dash by pushing forward and lifting off.
4) Remove the torx screws on the driver side dash cover and remove the cover. This will provide access to the ECU.
5) To improve access to the wiring harness, unplug the connectors and remove the engine computer. The computer is held in Read the rest of this entry »

Parked out in front of a Volkswagen dealer is a white Jetta with green leafy stickers on it. A line of text on each side informs us that it’s “Not A Concept Car.” On the rear bumper, it has the URL goodcleandieselfun.com, and a sticker on the trunklid says “take me for a test drive.” So I did.
