Workspaces
AutoCAD workspaces are sets of menus, toolbars and dockable windows (such as the Properties palette, DesignCenter, and the Tool palettes window) that are grouped and organized so that you can work in a custom, task-oriented drawing environment.
3D Dashboard
The dashboard consists of a set of control panels organized by function. For example, the top control panel contains commands that create and modify 3D solids; the second control panel contains commands and controls used to navigate 3D models.

Like all Microsoft Office products, Excel allows you to customise various settings to suit your own requirements. Whereas Microsoft Word has a default template called normal.dot, Excel has a special file called Excel.xlb in which your settings are stored. Note that not all settings are stored here, however - for example, each file has its own colour palette.

Photoshop Elements is an image editing program you can use to prepare images for your story.
Photoshop allows you to resize and crop photos, fix flaws in the image, and composite images together into a collage.
Step 1 – Opening Program and Getting Photos
After opening up the software you will see the “welcome” window. Select “Browse for File.” This will open up the Browser window. Use the window in the upper left to navigate to your “rough images” folder. You should now see your rough images in the Browser.

Seeing in black and white
Black and white conversions are radical transformations of images. They’re about reestablishing the tonal foundations of an image. That’s quite different than dodging and burning, or lightening and darkening locally, which is a matter of accentuating existing tonal relationships.

New D Workspace
If you are using only 2D AutoCAD ® commands, why not use the new 2D Drafting & Annotation workspace? This capability displays powerful 2D tools on the Dashboard.
D Dashboard Control Panels
New 2D control panels provide easy access to layers and include controls for annotation scaling, text, dimensions, multiple leaders, tables, 2D navigation commands, object properties, and block attributes. When you select a tool from the Dashboard, the corresponding tool palette also displays, where applicable.
