  • Breaking into computer networks from the Internet PDF
  • What is this document about anyway? While I was writing this document a book “Hack Proofing Your Network” was released. I haven’t been able to read it (dunno if its in print yet, and besides - everything takes a while to get to South Africa). I did however read the first chapter, as it is available to the public. In this chapter the author writes about different views on IT security - hackers, crackers, script kiddies and everything in between. I had some thoughts about this and decided that it was a good starting point for this document. I want to simplify the issue - let us forget motives at the moment, and simply look at the different characters in this play. To do this we will look at a real world analogy. Let us assume the ultimate goal is breaking into a safe (the safe is a database, a password file, confidential records or whatever). The safe is located inside of a physical building (the computer that hosts the data). The building is located inside of a town (the computer is connected to a network). There is a path/highway leading to the town and the path connects the town to other towns and/or cities. (read Internet/Intranet). The town/city is protected by a tollgate or an inspection point (the network is protected by a firewall, screening router etc.) There might be certain residents (the police) in the town looking for suspicious activity, and reporting it to the town’s mayor (the police

  • Test Drive 6 - Games Cheats Hints & Trainer PC Guide
  • Test Drive 6 is the last twitch of a dying breed: the arcade races. Everyone wants super realism and car crashes that defy the common sense and on top of that, what little market was left for this genre it was completely taken by the NFS series. We also have to admit that the last Test Drive wasn’t the real competitor we expected it to be so it was pretty easy for it to get lost in the shadows. Here are some cheats to remind you of those old times. Cheat mode: Enter one of the following names to activate the corresponding cheat function. All cars - DFGY All tracks - ERDRTH All quick race tracks - CVCVBM No quick race tracks - OCVCVBM Shorter tracks - QTFHYF All challenges - OPIOP No challenges - OPOIOP Disable checkpoint times - FFOEMIT Enable checkpoint times again - NOEMIT Stop The Bomber mode - RFGTR $6,000,000 - AKJGQ Honda bike - Honda XR Stop The Bomber mode (alternate): Catch all the speeders on the Paris, Rome, New York, Hong Kong and London tracks in cop chase mode. Stay on track: When you are going around a sharp corner at high speeds, you will often go off of the track and lose speed and risk of losing your place in the race. To prevent this, simply let off the gas completely at the middle of the corner until you start to skid. Do not panic. When you start to skid, accelerate again and you

  • AutoCADD Tutorial A survival guide
  • AutoCADD is an extremely powerful drafting tool. It has enabled accuracy in drawing barely imaginable thirty years ago. AutoCADD has taken a lot of the guesswork out of locating routes for roads, locations for underwater foundations, and even space research. It is so accurate that it can give commands to an electronically controlled saw to cut wood to the thousandth of an inch. That’s what we use it for in MIL; to cut out robot parts and copper circuit boards. The machine is called a t-tech machine, and presents specific problems that must be addressed in AutoCADD. Specifically, we have to leave little holes in the outlines of the things to be cut in order to anchor the object in place, and account for the width of the blade in cutting. First we’ll learn about AutoCADD, then come back to learn the specific applications for the MIL Lab. Relative Coordinates Relative coordinates are extremely useful in drawing precisely. The relative coordinate command takes the last point to which you clicked and temporarily makes it the origin. It works for rectangular and polar coordinates (also for spherical, but 3-D applications are more complicated). After selecting a first point, type in “@X,Y” or “@L
