The Interplay of Real Life and Facebook in Defining Interpersonal Romantic RelationshipsElectronic communication has been redefining the ways in which people communicate with each other since its wide-spread introduction in the 1990’s. E-mail, instant messaging, internet forums, and social networking have added entirely new meanings to interpersonal interaction and community. Through time, internet based communication has developed its own set of non-verbal communication (emoticons, select usage of certain punctuation, chat speak, etc.) Like all other communication technologies, it has also been adapted into everyday life and everyday communication (by those that have access of course).
It is the interplay between internet and real life communication and its subsequent effect on interpersonal relationships that is the focus of this research proposal. Popular social networking websites such as Facebook have bundled many of the internet communication standards such as e-mail, forums, and instant messaging into one resource. Then these communication standards are linked together through a Web 2.0 standard called “social networking.” Social networking allows users to link and communicate with each other through a myriad of ways… and it is always at the user’s discretion.
Research has already been done on who uses Facebook, why they do, and how much time they spend on it (Ellison, Steinfield, & Lampe, 2007). There has also been introductory research done on the benefits of social networking through Facebook (Stern & Taylor, 2007) and the electronic presenting and “looking glass” self through Facebook (Walther 2008). The academic world knows what Facebook is and why it’s used. In the next tutorial, we will begin the process of drawing something very simple in order to learn how to attack a drawing task with this system. These tutorials are deliberately verbose, explaining concepts and ideas as you along. It is important, therefore, that you take the time to read and understand those explanations.
These tutorials are written for AutoCAD 2000 running under the Windows 95/98 operating environment. Some of the later tutorials make use of enhancement packages that are sold in conjunction with AutoCAD to address specific disciplinary CAD modelling tasks.

In other cases, structured data can be extracted with relative ease from Web pages that follow atemplate using XSLT stylesheets.
SearchMonkey reuses structured data to improve search result display with benefits to both search users, developers, and publishers of web content. The first type of applications are focusing on remaking the abstracts on the search result page: Figure 1 shows the kind of presentations that structured data enables in this space. Based on data, the image representing the object can be easily singled out. One can also easily select the most important attributes of the object to be shown in a table format. With the advent of Web 2.0, numerous video sharing sites using different storage and content delivery models have become popular. Yet, little is known about these models from a global perspective. Such an understanding is important for designing systems which can efficiently serve video content to users all over the world. In this paper, we analyze and compare the underlying distribution frameworks of three video sharing services – YouTube, Dailymotion and Metacafe – based on traces collected from measurements over a period of 23 days.
We investigate the variation in service delay with the user’s geographical location and with video characteristics such as age and popularity. We leverage multiple vantage points distributed around the globe to validate our observations. Our results represent some of the first measurements directed towards analyzing these recently popular services.

Core GT components address basic issues relating to security, resource access and management, data movement and management, resource discovery, and so forth. A broader “Globus universe” comprises numerous tools and components that build on core GT4 functionality to provide many useful application- level functions.
These tools have been used to develop many Grid systems and applications. Version 4 of the Globus Toolkit, GT4, released in April 2005, represents a significant advance relative to the GT3 implementation of Web services functionality in terms of the range of components provided, functionality, standards conformance, usability, and quality of documentation. This document is intended to provide a first introduction to key features of both GT4 and associated tools, and the ways in which these components can be used to develop Grid infrastructures and applications.
