Test Drive 6 is the last twitch of a dying breed: the arcade races. Everyone wants super realism and car crashes that defy the common sense and on top of that, what little market was left for this genre it was completely taken by the NFS series. We also have to admit that the last Test Drive wasn’t the real competitor we expected it to be so it was pretty easy for it to get lost in the shadows. Enter the Matrix is just another example of a movie franchise that had to have a game sequel. Unfortunately, it was slated to appear in the same time with the movie in question, having the producers rush the development and finally releasing a somewhat unfinished game on the market (and if you were to ask me, a bad looking one at that). The game doesn’t follow the adventures of Neo as we might have expected, but in terms, it follows the story of a small character, at least in the movie and it’s used as a pretext for filling some of the gaps in the original script.

The racing simulator that could Juiced was supposed to be the primary rival of the Need for Speed series, but instead it ended up in the bottom drawer. The game wasn’t that bad but the press tore it apart limb by limb and eventually got scraped.
