Download manualUsing HTML Help With Microsoft AccessAccess 97 was released about the same time as HTML Help, so there is zero support for this particular help system from Access 97. For example, you won't be able to use the help functionality of the MsgBox function with HTML Help as it only works with WinHelp. The way to fix this particular problem is to use Sönke Huckfeldt's techniques for creating custom MsgBox and InputBox functions. These techniques can be found in a sample database which is available from the same page you retrieved this article from.
You can snag code out of the HTML Help class module to call topics from a menu, command buttons, etc., in Access 97 and 2000. However, there's a problem with this in that Access doesn't use App.Path to derive the path to the application as in the class module code. Microsoft Access MVP Doug Steele suggests using the following to replace App.Path:

The laser cutters can do many things, like cut and engrave (or score). There are some tips for preparing your laser files in AutoCAD at the end of this document. For more information on approved materials the laser cutters can cut and score please refer to the “Laser Resources – Materials and Suppliers” document. General safety information is contained in the “Laser Resources – Materials and Safety” document.
During this tutorial we will be using AutoCAD to print to the laser cutters. There will soon be more tutorials for other programs that will allow raster engraving, like Photoshop.
This is a PDF, so you don’t need to print it!!
The first few steps of this tutorial involve setting up your AutoCAD file and these steps must be completed
on your own. Time is precious and this should not wait until you are logged onto the TBH computers.
The first step is to prepare your file by making two new layers, a layer named “Cut” and “Score”. The
laser printer uses settings files based on color; it assigns a certain power and speed setting to certain
colors. The settings that have been created for the laser plotters are this; The “Cut” color is RED (index
color 1) and the “Score” color is GREEN (index color 3).
So place the lines you wish to cut your material with on the cut layer (red), andblu2i AT Command Set ManualCOMMAND SET Assumptions Commands ^^^ {Enter Local Command Mode} !!! {Enter Remote Command Mode}AT ATA {Answer Call} ATD, {Make Connection} ATDU, {Make Authenticated Connection} ATDY, {Make Encrypted Connection} ATDUY, {Make Authenticated/Encrypted Connection} ATDL {Remake Connection} ATDR {Make Connection to peer specified in AT+BTR} ATEn {Enable/Disable Echo} ATH {Drop Connection} ATIn {Information} ATO {Enter Data Mode} (letter ‘o’) ATSn=m {Set S Register} ATSn? {Read S Register Value} ATSn=? {Read S Register – Valid Range} ATX {Send Data in Local Command and Connected Mode}

Savvy developers and application architects who take the time to examine InterBase closely find that it offers substantial advantages over Microsoft® SQL Server™.
Those advantages include:
• Greater concurrency in a mixed read/write environment
• More flexible trigger support
• Faster crash recovery
• Easier event management
• More deployment options
• Cross-platform support
• Smaller size
• Lower system requirements
• Shorter training time
• Lower training cost
• Lower licensing cost
This white paper discusses those advantages in greater detail.
Today’s embedded and distributed database applications create an environment that consists of both the short read and update transactions typical of data entry systems and the long read transactions required for reporting and data analysis. When data analysis requires a consistent view of data at a point in time, the locks required by Microsoft SQL Server prevent other users from accessing the data being analyzed.
The InterBase database engine is specifically designed to provide a consistent snapshot of your data at a point in time without blocking reads or updates by other users. With InterBase, readers never block writers and writers only block writers when two transactions try to update the same row at the same time. In addition, the InterBase concurrency model is completely.
