Download PDFHow to create, save, and upload Microsoft Word documents as Web pagesWriting documents in Microsoft Word™ is convenient and produces good looking results, but posting these documents to web sites presents a problem. Students who do not have a copy of Word installed can not view the documents. When a person without Word left-clicks on the link to the word document, they will be prompted to download the doc as a file. If they figure out how to download it and then try to open it, they will be presented with several unfriendly looking windows asking them how to open the file. This is more than enough to scare off the average student.
Fortunately, there is an easy way to make Word convert documents into web friendly HTML pages. HTML pages can be viewed in any modern web browser and students do not need Microsoft Word™ to view them. This document covers creating a web friendly Word document, converting the word document into a web friendly HTML file, and uploading that file to a Blackboard Vista course.
A guide to creating web friendly Word documents
Most basic word documents translate very well into web friendly HTML files with little to no modification, but there are a few guidelines that it helps to follow while writing the Word doc.
Some Word elements translate easily into web pages. Try to use these elements to format your pages as much as possible. Elements that work well for the web include:
• Alignment (left, right, centered).
• Bold and italics. Try to avoid using underline if possible.
• Font size and color.
•Simplifying the Service Delivery Environment - How to remain relevant in the Web 2.0 eraTo remain relevant in the Web 2.0 era it is important for an operator to first identify the unique network assets they have and then design an architecture that will maximize their usage, while at the same time protect them. Mobile operators are currently at risk of becoming bit-pipes as a result of the latest web technologies and properties. Competition is becoming very intense and operator revenues are likely to substantially decrease as a result. And by the time a mobile industry standards committee has the chance to meet, analyze and agree on a situation or latest protocol to create and deliver a new service, numerous Web 2.0 sites will have already come and gone.
If mobile operators want to remain relevant, they will have to open the networks and allow innovation to flourish. This is the role of either a Service Delivery Platform, or an effective Service Delivery Environment created by operators and based on their key assets and strengths. In general, a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) has four main assets that ensure competitive advantage compared to content or application service providers (ASPs).
Identity
MNOs have the necessary infrastructure to manage the identity of a subscriber. Once a subscriber is on the network, the MNO can provide identity information to the application provider. There is no need for a new login process when using a service. A Service Delivery Environment should facilitate delivery of subscriber identity to authorised ASPs.
Billing
MNOs have a billing relationship with the subscriber. They can enable content and applicationMapInfo SpatialWare 4.8 for Microsoft SQL Server Release NotesSpatialWare ® allows you to store, access, manage and manipulate spatial data as a standard part of your business data. Spatial data contains geographic information so that it may be represented on a map. Customer records with name, address and telephone numbers are only records in a database. Once the address can be tied to a geographic location on earth, the record becomes spatial information. Display that record with other spatial information on a map and you can see the relationships among the records, allowing you to make more informed decisions about your business data.
With SpatialWare and SQL Server, spatial data may be a part of any SQL Server database insert, update or delete. You can query both spatial and non-spatial data within a single SQL Server query. Spatial data used in conjunction with non-spatial data is being used by companies to find their next customer, increase the number of products and services that are offered to customers, and serve customers better. Spatial data can help answer key questions such as: Where can I buy or service products? Can you get a service truck out to me today? Do you offer cellular service in my area? What is the average home value within a 5 KM radius? All these answers depend on knowing accurate location information. SpatialWare lets you capitalize on this information. You already store key business information in your database; your spatial data should complement and extend the analysis opportunities available from the database.

The injection computer does not adjust the engine idle speed. ELECTRIC CORRECTION ACCORDING TO BATTERY VOLTAGE AND ELECTRIC POWER BALANCE The aim of this correction is to compensate for the drop in voltage due to operation of a power consuming component when the battery is at low charge. To achieve this, the idle speed is increased, which increases the speed of rotation of the alternator, and this increases the battery voltage. The lower the voltage, the more significant the correction. Correction of the engine speed is therefore variable. It begins when the voltage drops below 12.8 V.The idling speed may reach 900 rpm maximum.
Note: After a cold start and lengthy idling, a sudden drop in engine speed to approximately 150 rpm may be noticed. PETROL INJECTION Adaptive idle speed correction PRINCIPLE Under normal hot engine operating conditions, the idle speed Opening Cyclic Ratio signal value varies between a high value and a low value, so that the nominal idle speed is obtained. It is possible that during variations in the operation of the vehicle (running in, engine clogging, etc.), that the Opening Cyclic Ratio (OCR) could become close to the highest or lowest values. The adaptative correction on the idle Opening Cyclic Ratio allows the slow variations of the engine’sMcFunSoft DVD to 3GP Video Rip/Convert WorkshopMcFunSoft DVD to 3GP Video Rip/Convert Workshop is an extremely easy to use video formats rip and converter.
