  • Connecting the iPod to a Bravo
  • The first thing I bought a chinch (pic.1) to headphones (pic. 2) cable. Taken the glove box out and the Fiat radio. Fitted the connection cable and 1 two line cable for power (pic.3), had the hole in the dash when I bought the car (prob. a mobile phone holder) Connected the two line cable (pic.3) to the negative ( - ) cable of the car, and the other one to the positive ( + ) witch only has power when the car is running. So the power line has no constant power and the LED that shows charging of the iPod isn't visible when the car is not running. Then I connected the Sony 5700 to the car and inserted the chinch's to the sony unit. (pic.4) This is it for the Sony unit side. Now comes the tricky part (so to say) First I had to find out witch car iPod holder has the charge option and constant level volume output. When connecting an iPod directly to the headphones jack (pic.2), the volume can be adjusted to a higher level from iPod and that can damage the amp. So I decided to buy PodGear CarDock Cradle & Charger (pic.5) (found it in MacWorld, bought it in Austria-closer to my country) - can find it on eBay for sure, regular coast in UK around 35£ inc. Vat. • Fixing MySQL after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.2
  • Many users who installed the GoLive Preconfigured Servers and MySQL on Mac OS X 10.1.x found that MySQL was broken after they upgraded to Mac OS X 10.2. If you run the Start MySql script and get an error message as seen below in Figure 5.1 then you need to fix your MySQL installation under OS X 10.2. The good news is that it's very easy and this step-by- step tutorial will walk you through the process. When you installed MySQL under Mac OS X 10.1.x you had to create a user account called mysql so MySQL could run properly. Now with Mac OS X 10.2, Apple conveniently includes a default mysql user in the system so you no longer need to create that user account yourself. The problem addressed in this tutorial only arises when you install MySQL under Mac OS X 10.1.x and then upgrade to Mac OS X 10.2 because the standard user account created on the machine for MySQL is hijacked or overwritten by a Netinfo only user account of the same name. Bascially, we'll just delete the Netinfo user in Netinfo Manager and recreate the standard user account. Step 1: Locate and launch the NetInfo Manager Application Find the NetInfo Manager application in your Applications/Utilities folder and launch it by double-clicking. The application icon looks like the one in Figure 5.2.... Download pdf for Fixing MySQL after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.2

  • Adding a New Language to VB .NET Globalization - Making the Case for the Kurdish Language
  • Developing programs for multiple languages used to be long and daunting tasks. Changing a program so it can be used in another language used to involve making major adjustments to the original program and sometimes used to require writing a totally different program for the new language. For example, developing a program in English and then changing it so it could be used in Arabic would take making major modifications to the original code, adding routines and introducing new tools to make the changes. The introduction of Visual Studio .NET has changed that drastically. Application developers can write programs in one language (say English) and then with minimum recoding, the programmers can adjust them so they could be displayed in another language (like Arabic). Processing of such changes is helped through the use of a list of languages supported in VS .NET (Finch, 2005). In other words, making modifications from one language to another is made easier because of a list of classes and routines for languages that are supported in VS .NET. However, this list of languages in VS .NET is incomplete and is missing many languages. Download Adding a New Language to VB .NET Globalization - Making the Case for the Kurdish Language

  • 1995-96 Volvo 850 Manual A/C-Heater Systems
  • System is equipped with a cycling clutch system that uses an expansion valve in refrigerant line between condenser and evaporator, near condenser. System is engaged when A/C switch on control panel is pressed. See Fig. 1. Pressure switch on accumulator cycles compressor clutch on and off. Blower fan speed is controlled by sliding switch on lower left of A/C-heater control panel. Airflow modes are controlled by center knob on A/C-heater control panel. Mode doors are controlled by cables on left side of climate control unit. See Fig. 2. Temperature blend (air mix) doors, located on driver and passenger side respectively, is selected by left or right knob on A/C-heater control panel. Doors are controlled by cables on left side and center of climate control unit. Fresh/recirculated air is selected by switch to lower right of mode knob on A/C-heater control panel. Door is controlled by recirculation motor on upper half of climate control unit. Air conditioning system will only operate above 32 £ F (0 £ C). Blower switch must be in position "1" or higher to engage compressor. A/C compressor is connected in series with the low-pressure switch, high-pressure switch, and safety switch. The high-pressure and safety switch cut power to the A/C compressor if pressure in the A/C high-pressure circuit becomes excessive, supplying a signal to ECM to start cooling fan. Low-pressure switch (pressostat) turns A/C compressor on and off to maintain pressure within limits. Download pdf 1995-96 Volvo 850 Manual A/C-Heater Systems
