  • WEB 2.0 Framework Definitions
  • Participation Every aspect of Web 2.0 is driven by participation. The transition to Web 2.0 was enabled by the emergence of platforms such as blogging, social networks, and free image and video uploading, that collectively allowed extremely easy content creation and sharing by anyone. Standards Standards provide an essential platform for Web 2.0. Common interfaces for accessing content and applications are the glue that allow integration across the many elements of the emergent web. Decentralization Web 2.0 is decentralized in its architecture, participation, and usage. Power and flexibility emerges from distributing applications and content over many computers and systems, rather than maintaining them on centralized systems. Openness The world of Web 2.0 has only become possible through a spirit of openness whereby developers and companies provide open, transparent access to their applications and content. Modularity Web 2.0 is the antithesis of the monolothic. It emerges from many, many components or modules that are designed to link and integrate with others, together building a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. User Control A primary direction of Web 2.0 is for users to control the content they create, the data captured about their web activities, and their identity. This powerful trend is driven by the clear desires of participants. Identity Identity is a critical element of both Web 2.0 and the future direction of the internet. We can increasingly choose to represent our identities however we please, across interactions, virtual worlds, and social networks. We can also own and verify our real identities in transactions if we choose. Download pdf WEB 2.0

  • AutoCAD® 2004 Tutorial Second Level: 3D Modeling Manual
  • The AutoCAD surface modeler defines faceted surfaces using a filled polygon. The created faces of surface models are only planar, which means the surface models can only have approximate curved surfaces. It is important to note that the AutoCAD surface modeler does not create true curved surfaces. To differentiate these two types of surfaces, faceted surfaces are called meshes in AutoCAD. Because of the use of faceted approximation on true curved surfaces, the computer requirements of most faceted surface modelers are typically much less than that of solid modelers. Faceted surface modeling usually provides reasonably good representations of 3D designs with fast rendering and shading capabilities. Faceted surface models are also useful for creating geometry with unusual surface patterns, such as a 3D topographical model of mountainous terrain. • IMAQ PCI-1426 User Manual
  • The IMAQ 1426 is a highly flexible image acquisition (IMAQ) device that supports a diverse range of Camera Link-compatible cameras from various camera companies. The IMAQ 1426 acquires digital images in real time and stores the images in onboard frame memory or transfers them directly to system memory. Featuring a high-speed data flow path, the IMAQ 1426 is ideal for both industrial and scientific environments. The IMAQ 1426 is easy to install and configure. It ships with NI-IMAQ, the National Instruments complete IMAQ driver software you can use to directly control the IMAQ 1426 and other National Instruments IMAQ hardware products. With NI-IMAQ, you can quickly and easily start your applications without having to program the device at the register level. The IMAQ 1426 supports the Camera Link Base configuration. The MDR 26-pin connector provides access to base configuration cameras. For further configuration information, refer to the Camera Link and IMAQ 1426 section of Chapter 3, Hardware Overview. The 15-pin D-SUB connector has four external TTL input/output (I/O) lines you can use as triggers or as high-speed digital I/O lines. Should you choose not to use the TTL I/O lines, the 15-pin D-SUB connector also provides access to two optically isolated inputs and two RS-422 inputs. These inputs can be individually selected in software. For more advanced digital or analog system triggering or digital I/O lines, you can use the IMAQ 1426 and NI-IMAQ with the National Instruments data acquisition (DAQ) or motion control product lines. • Fiat Bravo Changing / removing / refitting of front brakes pads
  • The first thing you need to do is jack up the car and remove the wheel. After you have done that, you will be left with this. Now the first step in removing the caliper is to take off the spring on the front side. You do it using some pliers. The yellow arrow shows the spring. The second pic shows the caliper with the spring removed. The next step is to remove the corks (red arrows) and unscrew the two 7mm alen (imbus) screws that hold the caliper. The screws are under the corks – pic2 To get the screws out, insert the 7mm alen key in and unscrew them out. This is how the screws looks like. The white arrow points where the other one is. When the screws are out, you need to disconnect the pad wear cable. It is on one of the sides of the car (HGT-both sides). Connector is circled red. After that is done, pull the caliper toward you by hand. Next step is to remove the pad wear cable from its holder on the caliper. After you remove it, it should dangle freely like this. Then pull off the caliper in the yellow arrow direction. After you have pulled the caliper off, you will be left with one pad on the caliper holder and one on the caliper piston. • Microsoft Office 2003 Word Introduction
  • Microsoft Word is an essential tool for the creation of documents. Its ease of use has made Word one of the most widely used word processing applications currently on the market. Therefore, it's important to become familiar with the various facets of this software, since it allows for compatibility across multiple computers as well as collaborative features. Word is a fairly simple program to use for completing simple tasks. However, it may be more difficult to learn how to explore the more advanced possibilities of Word. Opening Microsoft Word: To run Word on your computer: “Start” >> “Programs” >> “Microsoft Office” >> “Microsoft Office Word 2003.” If there is an icon of Microsoft Word available on your desktop (shaped like a square with a "W" in the middle), you can open up the program by double-clicking it, as well. Making a New Blank Document: When Word is opened, a new blank document should automatically open. If not, then you can begin a new blank document in a variety of ways. First, find the "New Blank Document" icon, which looks like a blank sheet of paper, located underneath the menu bar in Word in what is called the "standard toolbar." Click on the icon to bring up a new blank document. Download pdf Microsoft Office 2003 Word Introduction

  • Statistical analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Excel spreadsheets have become somewhat of a standard for data storage, at least for smaller data sets. This, along with the program often being packaged with new computers, naturally encourages its use for statistical analyses. This is unfortunate, since Excel is most decidedly not a statistical package. Now, here are the values obtained when using the regression program available in the Analysis Toolpak of Microsoft Excel 2002 (the same results came from earlier versions of Excel; I will say something about Excel 2003 later). Each of the nine numbers given above is incorrect! The slope estimate has the wrong sign, the estimated standard errors of the coefficients are zero (making it impossible to construct t–statistics), and the values of R2, F and the regression sum of squares are negative! It’s obvious here that the output is garbage (even Excel seems to know this, as the #NUM!’s seem to imply), but what if the numbers that had come out weren’t absurd — just wrong? Unless Excel does better at addressing these computational problems, it cannot be considered a serious candidate for use in statistical analysis.
