iChoose – an Introduction to AJAX on MobilesWhen Symbian was formed 10 years ago, it inherited a browser from Psion. In the following years, the ability to browse real Web pages became a key differentiator of smartphones as compared to feature phones, and so Web technologies have played an important role in the story of Symbian. At the time of Symbian’s formation, there was much debate in the industry on whether the future of personal and enterprise computing would be in thick or thin clients – that is, in rich client software running mainly on the phone, or software hosted on a network server with a fairly simple browsing terminal. Ten years later and we see AJAX blurring the gap between the notion of thin and thick clients with rich browsing terminals backed with colossal arrays of servers dishing out email, photos, twitters and Facebook messages.
To summarize, early mobile Web browsers provided poor user experience and low bandwidth, with initiatives such as WAP failing to deliver compelling content to match the expectation of a mobile Web. The situation has greatly improved recently, and now that devices such as the Nokia N95 and Apple iPhone provide very capable desktop-grade browsers, content providers are starting to produce simpler, mobile versions of their sites in order to improve the user experience (for example, see Facebook and Google’s applications).
The WebKit-based Web browser looks likely to become the de facto standard for mobile Web. Aside from its adoption into the Symbian ecosystem as part of S60, WebKit also provides the engine forSmartMAP Model SM-300-xxx Installation InstructionsHonda/Acura turbo and supercharger kits and prevents the engine computer (ECU) from … Using the electrical service manual for your vehicle, locate the MAP

What is the SmartMAP.?
The SmartMAP. model SS-300 replaces the check valve and restrictor assembly used by most Honda/Acura turbo and supercharger kits and prevents the engine computer (ECU) from shutting down the engine when the manifold pressure is above atmospheric (boost).
How does the SmartMAP. work?
The SmartMAP. connects inline with the stock (OEM) manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor and limits the MAP voltage that is applied to the ECU. The limit (clamp) voltage value is preset and can not be adjusted.
The stock Honda/Acura NSX MAP sensor has an output range of about 0.5V at high vacuum to about 2.7V at atmospheric pressure (wide open throttle for normally aspirated NSX’s). With a turbo or supercharger installed, the manifold pressure will increase above atmospheric, and the MAP sensor voltage will rise above 2.7V. At some voltage above 2.7V, the NSX ECU will assume that there is a problem with the sensor and shut off the engine, since under normal conditions (without the turbo/SC), the MAP output will never exceed about 2.7V. The SmartMAP model SM-300-275 prevents the ECU from shutting…
DownloadCryptanalysis of Microsoft's PPTP Authentication ExtensionsThe Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) [HP+97] is a protocol that allows Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) connections [Sim94] to be tunneled through an IP network, creating a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Microsoft has implemented its own algorithms and protocols to support PPTP. This implementation of PPTP, called Microsoft PPTP, is used extensively in commercial VPN products precisely because it is already a part of the Microsoft Windows 95, 98, and NT operating systems.
The authentication protocol in Microsoft PPTP is the Microsoft Challenge / Reply Handshake Protocol (MS-CHAP) [ZC98]; the encryption protocol is Microsoft Point to Point Encryption (MPPE) [PZ98]. After Microsoft’s PPTP was cryptanalyzed [SM98] and significant weaknesses were publicized, Microsoft upgraded their protocols [Zor98a, Zor98b, Zor99]. The new version is called MS-CHAP version 2 (MS-CHAPv2); the older version has been renamed as MS-CHAP version 1 (MS-CHAPv1). MS-CHAPv2 is available as an upgrade for Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT 4.0 (DUN 1.3) [Mic98a, Mic98b]. Even though this upgrade is available, we believe that most implementation of PPTP use MS-CHAPv1.
This paper examines MS-CHAPv2 and discusses how well it addresses the security weaknesses outlined in [SM98].
The most significant changes from MS-CHAPv1 to MS-CHAPv2 are:
• The weaker LAN Manager hash is no longer sent along with the stronger Windows NT hash. This is to prevent automatic password crackers like L0phtcrack [L99] from first breaking the weaker LAN Manager hash and then using that information to break the stronger NT hash [L97].
• An authentication scheme for the server has been introduced. This isSSH tips, tricks & protocol tutorial pdfWhat is SSH SSH (Secure SHell) is a network protocol which provides a replacement for insecure remote login and command execution facilities, such as telnet, rlogin and rsh. SSH encrypts traffic in both directions, preventing traffic sniffing and password theft. SSH also offers several additional useful features: Compression: traffic may be optionally compressed at the stream level. Public key authentication: optionally replacing password authentication. Authentication of the server: making man-in-the-middle attack more difficult Port forwarding: arbitrary TCP sessions can be forwarded over an SSH connection.
X11 forwarding: SSH can forward your X11 sessions too. File transfer: the SSH protocol family includes two file transfer protocols. 2.2 History SSH was created by Tatu Yl¨nen in 1995 and was at first released under an open-source license. Later versions were to bear increasing restrictive licenses, though they generally remained free for non-commercial use. He went on to form SSH Communications security which sells commercial SSH implementations to this day. The earlier versions of his code implement what is now referred to as SSH protocol v.1

Fedora Core comes as a series of three ISO files, each about 650 MB in size. After downloading and verifying the files, you'll want to put them onto CDs. Most every version of Windows comes with CD-burning software, so I won't belabor that process here. It's not quite as straightforward on a Linux box, though, so I'll provide explicit details for creating CDs with Linux.
Once you've got your three CDs, it's time to install. The first CD is bootable, so, assuming that your machine can boot from a CD, you just stick it in and restart the machine. A wizard starts, first offering to check the CDs for errors, and then guiding you through about 16 screens that allow you to configure your machine and set up preferences. Most of these screens can be navigated simply by clicking "Next", as the wizard will detect and display the appropriate choice for you.
After completing the wizard, the installation starts, and you'll be prompted to insert CD #2 and #3 when necessary. Once all the files have been transferred and the system has been installed, the machine will restart and you'll spend a few more minutes making a few last tweaks and choosing settings. Upon completion, you've got a Linux box ready to go.

1. The first section shows you how to generate several charts, selectively view paths, and generate a workcenter utilization report.
2. The second section shows you how to make and save alternative layouts and material handling systems.
3. The third section takes you step-by-step through a basic analysis of a ladder factory.
Tip Look over Getting Started in the Factory Programs Guide for a quick review of what you should know before attempting any of the FactoryFLOW tutorials, including how to load the Factory menu and start FactoryFLOW. Repeating the Tutorial
The INSTALL program copies the files needed for the tutorial to the CIMFTUTORIAL directory on your hard disk, with a backup set of the files to the BAKTUTOR directory. If you named the CIMF directory something else during installation, substitute that name when referring to your directory. The files include drawing and data files used in the tutorial. During the tutorial, you will modify the original files and create new data files.
To do the tutorial a second time, you will need to restore the files to their original condition. To restore the files, first delete all files from the TUTORIAL directory, then copy everything from the BAKTUTOR directory
