  • Hyundai Sonata V6 Sedan Manual
  • Hyundai’s latest Sonata has stepped on a few toes in the large car segment. Externally the new V6 is almost identical to its four cylinder sibling –dual tailpipes being the only clue to the extra power. Yes, they share the same attractive Euro style body, but have decidedly different personas. DISLIKES Small front seats Light coloured trim marks easily well shaped, fine for a long trip, and the centre armrest is a welcome bonus. But anyone riding in the middle might feel short-changed by the lack of support. ERGONOMICS Functional and uncluttered, the dash layout is a model of simplicity. Large instruments face the driver, with the high set audio controls just to the left. Three rotary switches look after all of your air conditioning functions. The boot and fuel cap releases are tucked away under the driver’s armrest. Thanks to its large windscreens, front and rear vision is very good, making manoeuvring easy. SAFETY At this stage the Sonata hasn’t received an ANCAP safety rating. However the new bodyshell’s strength has been optimised in the virtual world using computer analysis, and confirmed in reality. Three hundred Sonatas were sacrificed in crash testing during the car’s development. The newcomer’s level of standard safety equipment reinforces its value for money. Dual front and side airbags, are complemented by front and rear curtain airbags. Active front head restraints and front seat belts with load limiters and pre-tensioners complete the package. Primary safety is aided by ABS equipped four wheel discs with Electronic Brake-force

  • A Spanish Stemming Algorithm Implementation in PROLOG and C#
  • A stemming algorithm is a technique used in Information Retrieval (IR) and some other applications of Natural Language Processing (NLP), which removes suffixes from a word in order to obtain a stem or base form which could be easily matched in databases or documents (Jurafsky 2000). Its use is based on the premise that two words with the same stem have very close semantic content. The several possible variations of the derivatives, inflected forms, gender and number changes, and other phenomena, make the grouping of all the variants under a common stem advisable. Applications that do not take these effects into account may end up with difficulties when comparing queries and documents, or dispersal effects in word frequency calculations. The Improved Snowball Spanish Stemming Algorithm This work is based on the Spanish stemming algorithm published by the Snowball project (Snowball 1999). The algorithm starts extracting sections from a word and labeling them as RV and R2. RV is defined as the region of the word that starts after the third letter, or null if not exists. To define R2, R1 needs to be defined. R1 is the region after the first non-vowel following a vowel, or null if not exists. For example, in the word precios, the first non-vowel following a vowel would be the c. Therefore, R1 would be ios. Similarly, in the word bell?simo, the first non-vowel following a vowel is the first l, therefore R1 would be given by l?simo. R2, on the other hand, is a region that starts

  • Website Security: PHP and MySQL as a Solution
  • The winter of 2004 brought with it a new opportunity for me. I began learning and programming in PHP and MySQL as an independent study and also for my job with both the admissions department and financial aid department of Eastern Washington University. My first bit of programming got off to a great start and it was when I was put in charge of developing a secure website that I began researching the topic of website security. I knew very little about how people hacked into websites to do various illegal activities, so I decided that some of the basic entry points into a website and its server needed to be addressed. Secure website development is of the utmost importance as the number of websites that provide personalized accounts and utilize cross site information. “When you deploy your application on the Web, it becomes available to everyone” (Kabir 737). In this paper I plan to bring to light some dangerous practices that are being used to attack websites. I will present an example of a practice, present a practical and secure way to handle it and if I have encountered the example in my own code, I will discuss my experiences with it. To differentiate between a normal user and a hacker I will use hacker to mean a user whose intentions are to disrupt the normal running of a website and/or server. “A supposed group of international hackers declares digital war against the United States directly from their headquarters in Russia”

  • Mobile Messaging Gateway HTTP API Connectivity Guide Version 2.0
  • The APIs defined in this document are for the external application to make use of services provided by the COMMZGATE Messaging Gateway Service. To make use of the service, you require an account from COMMZGATE as well as the IP address of the gateway on the Internet. Please contact your account manager if you do not have the above. HTTP Methods: The POST method may be used for the APIs unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are two categories of APIs: 1. MT (Mobile Terminate) APIs involve sending messages from the MMG to Mobile Device. The APIs are: 1) Send Message 2) Check Balance (Tokens are deducted upon each successful MT request) 2. MO (Mobile Originate) APIs involve receiving messages from the Mobile Device to MMG. There is currently only one API: 1) Receive Message For MT and Application APIs, http POST is initiated by the External Application and directed to the MMG. For MO APIs, http POST is initiated by the MMG and directed to the External Application. This document defines the APIs, their parameters, and return values. Note that parameter names are case sensitive. Also, none of the parameter values that are passed in should contain the pipe “|” character.
