  • Convergence – Mobile Web 2.0
  • The evolution of Web 2.0 has deep roots in our human psyche. Web 2.0 is about connecting two or more users with each other, creating communities, connecting assets to owners and growing virally. Enterprise Web 2.0 involves another level of engagement by connecting assets to people, and enterprises to enterprises. Tangible “connected value” comes in various shades, leaving the phylogeny difficult to define. Fundamentally, the Internet is far ahead of the mobile industry in developing 2.0 applications. A concept that has captured Web 2.0 is annotated broadcast television. This includes a term called “vommenting” (spelling is correct). Enterprise Web 2.0 applications, and its coordination of documents, workflow and communications, gives rise to a term called “Webification.” The goal is that the IT organization becomes a catalyst for organizational change through the use of the flexibility of business-driven technology. Some of the examples outlined in this report are 5 to 10 years away; however, the principles which provide guidance are in development, now, on a global scale. This report comments on a modicum of the evolving Web 2.0, and Mobile Web 2.0, environments. It is up to the user, and the enterprise, to experiment and implement. The Internet is evolving from desire, to human interaction. In the field of telecommunications, this is a multi-layered integrated world. It came from a simple tethered telephony solution - the land line telephone. Therefore, there is a revolution developing at the edge of the network which will impact our society in many fundamental ways. Individuals are increasingly connected through

  • Weaving Ada 95 into the .Net Environment
  • This paper explains our efforts to add Ada to Microsoft’s family of .NET languages. There are several advantages to weaving Ada into the Common Language Environment provided by the .NET environment. This paper explains our approach and current progress on the research. We provide the means to extract Ada specification files from Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL) code and compile Ada programs into MSIL. Microsoft’s .NET environment provides a large set of object- oriented libraries for application development, targeted especially for web-based applications. [11,12] It is an entirely new framework for programming Windows (and possibly other) machines. One of the key goals of .NET was to provide language interoperability. Ada shares similar goals, and was the first language to include mixed-language pragmas as part of its specification. Our A# project seeks to create a fully-interoperable environment for an Ada programmer to use .NET. Ada programmers will be able to use libraries written by other .NET programmers even if the libraries are written in other languages. Ada programmers will also be able to share their libraries with programmers using other languages. This paper presents research being done at the Air Force Academy on the A# project. We will discuss our approach for compiling Ada into MSIL, extracting Ada specifications from MSIL, and our progress to date. MICROSOFT’SCOMMON LANGUAGE RUNTIME In building the .NET Environment, Microsoft has found a way to provide language independent development coupled with platform independent execution. Their Common Language Environment (CLR) provides developers with a choice of several different programming languages such as
  • Camera Crazy Photoshop Tutorial Understanding Layers
  • Before we get into Photoshop I’m going to present to you an idea of what layers are about. If we take a layer of thin glass, and paint a pattern onto it, we can think of it as a single layer! Here you can see that we’ve painted a nice red rectangle onto our sheet of glass. If we put a paint a second (new) sheet of glass with a green circle on it, and place it over the first sheet, where we haven’t painted will show through the second sheet of glass (i.e. we will see the red square). OK, just for fun, we will take a third sheet of glass with a nice blue triangle painted on there, and place this on top of the pile of glass! OK, I think you get the idea! Basically, where there is no paint we can see through the glass and see the underlying pieces of glass (layers). OK, If we move the bottom sheet of glass from the bottom of the pile to the top, we should see a slightly different effect. At the minute parts of the red rectangle are blocked out by the circle and triangle. Moving the glass to the top should now mean that the rectangle will block out parts of the circle and triangle. • Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive Games Cheats Hints & Trainer PC pdf
  • Wanted Dead or Alive proved to be a captivating stealth-based strategy. The Wild West was always a most attractive subject. Cowboys, duels, pistols, dynamite, gold rush, beautiful ladies and tequila – the game had it all. It also kept the players happy by introducing 6 unique characters with very special abilities that matched marvelously their personalities. The hot shot (John) Cooper was a real charmer – a genuine James Bond of the Wild West. Sam (Williams) is the runaway cotton plantation slave that proves to be much more useful at other tasks… such as blowing things up and heavy artillery. Doc (McCoy) is the physician of the party and the elite sniper behind the bush. Kate (O’Hara) is of course the beauty of the group, but her charms are… lethal. She’s the best to use in case you want to set up a trap for any unfortunate man that lays eyes on her. (Pablo) Sanchez would probably have to be the beast in this party. His strength is no match for anyone. He loves his custom made bottle of tequila, taking naps and swirling his big bat at enemies. Mia (Yung) is the tricky Chinese girl that joins the gang in the middle of the action. That blowpipe of hers does a wonderful job of knocking nearby enemies down and the monkey… oh, the monkey is priceless if you want to get someone’s attention. Now, this is a great strategy game. You have it all – use tricks, use the terrain,
  • Investigation on the Operation of Passive RFID
  • RFID (Radio Frequency identification) is a method of identification process that has potential to substitute barcode and magnetic card as an identification process. The reason of this is because RFID is created to eliminate the defect of identification process occurred when either barcode or magnetic card is used. As RFID has faced obstacles during the implementation, it has not been used widely and to its maximum capability as further development and improvement is still possible. This issue will be thoroughly discussed in this thesis. This project has a main goal to discover the obstacles for RFID to be implemented widely. The results obtained from this project would show what kind of obstacles that are encountered by RFID and therefore would be foundation for further improvements. Furthermore, the result obtained from this project will assist in the direction of further development that should be made so RFID could be implemented widely to its maximum capability. After this project is undertaken, various projects related to further development of RFID could be performed. One example of the project that can be done for RFID development is how to increase the performance of RFID. Another project that can be taken is to store data of groceries expired date in the RFID, and build a hardware that have monitor to be embedded in the refrigerator where the expiry date can be monitored using that hardware. • A Genetic Programming Tutorial
  • The goal of getting computers to automatically solve problems is central to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the broad area encompassed by what Turing called “machine intelligence” (Turing 1948, 1950). In his 1983 talk entitled “AI: Where It Has Been and Where It Is Going, machine learning pioneer Arthur Samuel stated the main goal of the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence: “[T]he aim [is] … to get machines to exhibit behavior, which if done by humans, would be assumed to involve the use of intelligence.” Genetic programming is a systematic method for getting computers to automatically solve a problem starting from a high-level statement of what needs to be done. Genetic programming is a domain-independent method that genetically breeds a population of computer programs to solve a problem. Specifically, genetic programming iteratively transforms a population of computer programs into a new generation of programs by applying analogs of naturally occurring genetic operations. The genetic operations include crossover (sexual recombination), mutation, reproduction, gene duplication, and gene deletion. Analogs of developmental processes are sometimes used to transform an embryo into a fully developed structure. Genetic programming is an extension of the genetic algorithm (Holland 1975) in which the structures in the population are not fixed-length character strings that encode candidate solutions to a problem, but programs that, when executed, are the candidate solutions to the problem. Programs are expressed in genetic programming as syntax trees rather than as lines of code. For example, the simple expression max(x*x,x+3*y)is represented as shown in Figure 2. The
