Introduction to PHP-NukeThere has always been the necessity to have a definitive guide on PHP-Nuke. Due to time constraints, nobody has ever had the will to carry out this operation. Not any more! With this book, PHP-Nuke now posesses the most comprehensive guide on the subject, suitable for newbies and advanced users alike.
PHP-Nuke utilizes as hinge of its own structure the duo PHP+ MySQL, very often being accompanied by the Apache web server. Many modules have integrated many other languages, such as Javascript, Java, Flash and also even systems that serve, through the portal, sounds and films in streaming mode (Online Radio, TV Online, Images, Files...). From version 6.x onwards, the compatibility has been extended to include other databases as well, in order to extend the user base even more vastly.
PHP-Nuke is developed with a particular eye to the suggestions of the W3C, in its origin, the code is in fact W3C compliant and one has validated both the code and the style sheets. It is then up to the user who intends to create a portal to adhere to these standards during the modification of the graphics or the intrinsic characteristics of the system.
The personalisation either of the graphical, or of the programming part has only a single limit, the fantasy and capability of the programmer and web designer. The presence of many PHP-Nuke sites similar to each other is due mainly to the lack of time of those who created them or the fear that the phase of personalisation is tooApple Powerbook G4 Aluminum 12? Repair ManualHowTo – Create an Encryption-Plugin for Cryptool 2.0 using Visual Studio 2008This document is dedicated for the developer of a plugin for the e-learning program Cryptool 2.0. It describes step-by-step how you can create a new plugin in VS2008. How this can be done is described in this document, building a sample plugin which delivers the functionality for a “new” encryption algorithm.
The new plugin contains the according encryption code and offers its functionality to the Cryptool application using the interface “IEncryptionAlgorithm” from the CrypPluginBase. Additionally it delivers the according controls (like buttons, text boxes) and information to the TaskPane (icon, caption, descriptions).
Please be aware that the Cryptool 2.0 project is under development. Therefore, the screenshots in this document might represent the latest state of the project. However, we aim to provide a documentation and screenshots that can always guide you through the first steps on the development of a Plugin. If you anyhow detect a screenshot or description that does not lead you to success, we appreciate your feedback. Please visit the Cryptool project website (www.cryptool.org) to get in touch with us.

If we take a layer of thin glass, and paint a pattern onto it, we can think of it as a single layer! Here you can see that we’ve painted a nice red rectangle onto our sheet of glass. If we put a paint a second (new) sheet of glass with a green circle on it, and place it over the first sheet, where we haven’t painted will show through the second sheet of glass (i.e. we will see the red square).
OK, just for fun, we will take a third sheet of glass with a nice blue triangle painted on there, and place this on top of the pile of glass!
OK, I think you get the idea! Basically, where there is no paint we can see through the glass and see the underlying pieces of glass (layers).
OK, If we move the bottom sheet of glass from the bottom of the pile to the top, we should see a slightly different effect. At the minute parts of the red rectangle are blocked out by the circle and triangle. Moving the glass to the top should now mean that the rectangle will block out parts of the circle and triangle.

The shifting technological landscape is the driving force behind these Web 2.0 applications. On the one hand are Web services that are empowering server-side core technology components and on the other hand are AJAX and Rich Internet Application (RIA) clients that are enhancing client-end interfaces in the browser itself. XML is making a significant impact at both presentation and transport (HTTP/HTTPS) layers. To some extent XML is replacing HTML at the presentation layer while SOAP is becoming the XML-based transport mechanism of choice.
WEB 2.0 Security concerns – Reshaping the industry
This technological transformation is bringing in new security concerns and attack vectors into existence. Yamanner, Samy and Spaceflash type worms are exploiting “client-side” AJAX frameworks, providing new avenues of attack and compromising some of the confidential information. On the “server-side”, XML based Web services are replacing some of the key functionalities and providing distributed application access through Web services interfaces. These remote capabilities to invoke methods over GET, POST or SOAP from the Web browser itself provide new openings to applications. On other side, RIA frameworks running on XML, XUL, Flash, Applets and JavaScripts are adding new possible sets of vectors. RIA, AJAX and Web services are adding new dimensions to Web application security.

Mobile technology and broadband networks have enabled employees to work anywhere, and raised their expectations for easy access to centralized applications and corporate databases.
Companies have never been as dependent on software applications to perform their day-to-day operations and achieve their corporate objectives. Yet, the growing use of today‘s —internal“ software applications across wide area networks (WANs), or external applications across the Internet, is making it increasingly difficult to obtain optimal and secure performance from these essential applications.
Gaining greater performance from enterprise applications, such as those from Oracle, has become increasingly critical because of escalating pressures on companies today. Yet efforts to improve application performance, especially to remote users, are complicated by network limitations; bandwidth, and especially network latency.
Combined, these trends are generating interest and adoption of a widening array of ”on-demand‘ applications to satisfy companies‘ rapidly changing business requirements. Hosted on the Internet, business applications are easier to own, but that makes the Internet the backbone of your business data. Conversely, employees can be remote users to internal applications, using the Internet as their WAN with the help of VPN technologies. As a result, the line of demarcation between a company‘s WAN and the Internet is blurring. This can make enterprises and employees more vulnerable to a proliferation of security threats that can significantly affect their business operations. It also means users have to go across higher latency networks outside of your control, riskingMaxtor OneTouch II QuickStart Guide For Macintosh OS X pdfTo install the Maxtor OneTouch II software and Dantz Retrospect Express: 1.
