Yahoo! Blueprint TM Developer's Guide, Version 1.0This guide explains how to write mobile applications for the Yahoo! Blueprint TM Platform. Specifically, it documents the Blueprint markup language and provides instructions for developing, testing, and publishing mobile Internet services.
Understanding the Yahoo! Blueprint Platform
Using Blueprint, third-party developers can provide custom content and services in a variety of ways. Applications can be Yahoo! Go Mobile Widgets, browser-based Mobile Sites, or stand-alone Mobile Apps:
• Mobile Widgets run under Yahoo! Go. Users can subscribe to published Widgets by selecting them from the Widget Gallery and add Widgets to the Yahoo! Go carousel for faster access.
• Mobile Sites are accessible from any standard Web browser. Once published, they can be found using the search facility on Yahoo!’s mobile homepage.
• Mobile Apps rely on a stand-alone version of the Blueprint runtime installed on the user’s phone. They are accessed independently of both Web browsers and Yahoo! Go.
The deployment sections in this guide focus on Widgets. For information about publishing Mobile Sites and Mobile Apps, see the supplementary documents available from Yahoo!’s Mobile Developer site.
All mobile applications are written with an XML markup set called Blueprint, which is loosely based on XForms. In the version documented here, Blueprint hides most of the complex data-binding apparatus of XForms. The Blueprint language is purely declarative; it includes no scripting or procedural code. Applications are hosted on your own Web server, where, in addition to information content for the application, you can use server-side scripting to provide any needed logic.

MOM 2005 helps simplify identification of issues, streamlines the process for determining the root cause of problems, and facilitates quick resolution to restore services and to prevent potential IT problems.
Quest Software’s Management Packs for MOM provide the following:
• Proactive monitoring of ADAM
• In-depth Exchange traffic analysis
• Critical changes to Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
• Event log management
• Consolidated view of all Active Directory performance issues
• Troubleshooting for Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, and Active Directory Applications Mode (ADAM)
• Availability and status of Quest® ActiveRoles Server
Proactive monitoring of ADAM Quest Management Pack for Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) extends Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 to provide proactive performance monitoring and real-time diagnostics for detecting, troubleshooting and rapid resolution of replication, performance, and availability problems in ADAM environments.
In-Depth Exchange Traffic Analysis
Traffic Analysis of Microsoft Exchange environments is critical to ensure the overall success of operations. While MOM 2005 and the native Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 Management Packs provide good metrics on health monitoring, protocol usage and capacity planning, the traffic analysis reports which ship natively are limited to basic reports on Internet mail and Internet SMTP domains.
Microsoft and Quest have partnered to deliver the Quest® Exchange Reporting Management Pack— based on the award-winning Quest MessageStats TM product. The Exchange Reporting Management Pack provides comprehensive Exchange traffic analysis and reporting capabilities for MOM 2005 customers who have the Exchange 2000/2003 Management Pack.

This tutorial will take you through the process of creating a mouse embryo starting from a simple polygon cube through the creation of a base mesh suitable for subdividing and detailing. There are lots of ways to accomplish this in Maya, we’ll take a look at some general best practices for poly modeling techniques.
The basic strategy behind this method is to create as much of the basic forms of the object as possible with as little geometry as necessary. Be cheap with your geometry, only add faces through edge looping and extruding when you absolutely have to. This will make modeling less frustrating and pleasant. The completed low poly version of the model serves as a base mesh, which can be subdivided. Details are created by moving around the vertices of the base mesh and creasing to create harder edges where necessary.
Some Basic Rules For Efficient Poly Modeling
- Avoid n-sided polygons (polygons with more than 3 or 4 points). Polygons with 4 points (“quads”) are the best possible choice, 3 point polygons (“triangles”) are OK but are best placed out of sight. N-sided polygons (“n-gons”) can lead to pinched and distorted geometry when subdivided and deformed.
- Non-manifold geometry should also be avoided. This refers to a situation in which two or more attached polygons cannot be unfolded to lie on a flat plane without overlapping. For most queries please refer to this manual and keep it safe for future reference. Please contact your TOSHIBA TEC representative for further information concerning this manual. This printer has the following features:
• The print head block can be opened providing smooth loading of media and ribbon. • Various kinds of media can be used as the media sensors can be moved from the centre to the left edge of the media. • The strip module, ribbon saving module, and expansion I/O interface board are provided on this printer as standard. • When the optional interface board is installed, Web functions such as remote maintenance and other advanced network features are available. • Superior hardware, including the specially developed 12 dots/mm (306 dots/inch) thermal print head which will allow very clear print at a printing speed of 76.2 mm/sec. (3 inches/sec.), 127.0 mm/sec. (5 inches/sec.), or 203.2 mm/sec. (8 inches/sec.). • Besides the optional Cutter Module, there are also an optional PCMCIA Interface Board, LAN Interface Board, and the USB Interface Board. Unpack the printer as per the Unpacking Instructions supplied with the printer.

You have two options to set up PHP, using the CGI binary (php.exe in PHP 4, or php-cgi.exe in PHP 5) or with the ISAPI module. In either case, you need to start the Microsoft Management Console (may appear as 'Internet Services Manager', either in your Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack branch or the Control Panel=>Administrative Tools under Windows 2000/XP). Then right click on your Web server node (this will most probably appear as 'Default Web Server'), and select 'Properties'.
If you want to use the CGI binary, do the following:
• Under 'Home Directory', 'Virtual Directory', or 'Directory', click on the 'Configuration' button, and then enter the App Mappings tab.
• Click Add, and in the Executable box, type: C:phpphp.exe for PHP 4 or C:phpphp-cgi.exe for PHP 5 (assuming that you have unziped PHP in c:php).
• In the Extension box, type the file name extension you want associated with PHP scripts. Leave 'Method exclusions' blank, and check the 'Script engine' checkbox. You may also like to check the 'check that file exists' box - for a small performance penalty, IIS (or PWS) will check that the script file exists and sort out authentication before firing up PHP. This means that you will get sensible 404 style error messages instead of CGI errors complaining that PHP did not output any data.
You must start over from the previous step for each extension you want associated with PHP scripts. .phpApple Mac OS X v10.3.x Panther Security Configuration Guide ManualThe purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of Mac OS X v10.3.x Panther operating system security and recommendations for configuring the security features.
