  • Nissan Sentra 1.8S (Manual) Complete Report
  • The popular fifth-generation Sentra sedan, introduced in 2001, gets further styling tweaks and added convenience features to keep it competitive in the econocar/ pocket-rocket segment. For 2004, the Sentra receives redesigned front and rear fascias and a newly styled hood. Interior upgrades on the 2.5S, SE-R, and SE-R Spec V include an enhanced Rockford Fosgate sound system and a trip computer as standard equipment, while the SE-R Spec V gets Skyline-style sport bucket seats. Power choices remain a fuel-thrifty 126-hp, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine in the 1.8 and 1.8S models and, for a good deal more oomph, a 165-hp, 2.5-liter four-banger in the 2.5S and SE-R. But for a wilder ride we recommend the more powerful and responsive 175-hp, 2.5-liter version in the wicked little SE-R Spec V, which also gets a new brake package with quicker-stopping Brembo front discs. The 350Z gets some minor upgrades and a boost to 300 horsepower for six-speed-manual models. Nissan is taking a breather after launching new versions in 2005 of the Pathfinder, Frontier, and Xterra. The Titan and the Armada have new power-folding mirrors, the Xterra adds an entry-level X model, the Murano sports new wheels and a restyled grille, and the Quest adds a 3.5 Special Edition trim package. Unchanged: Maxima, Altima, Sentra, Frontier, Pathfinder, Xterra. Future: Nissan may launch one or two subcompacts based on the Cube, which is sold in Japan. All-new Altima and Sentra are due within a year. Power Circles were designed as an easy-to-use system for rating products and services. Please note: Power

  • Web Applications With Maypole
  • The Maypole web application framework can be used on two levels: first, as a simple way to add an interface to a database (and not much else besides), and second, as a toolkit for building more sophisticated web applications. In principle, there is a continuum of possible usages between these two levels, but it seems best for the purposes of teaching to entirely separate them. In the first part of this tutorial, we're going to quickly dispatch the first level of operation, putting a front-end onto a database. Not only is this useful in its own right in many cases, it both gives a demonstration of the power and flexibility of Maypole, and provides a useful basis for showing how Maypole applications can be expanded. As many of you know, I'm not really a Perl programmer any more; instead, I'm a missionary. It's a bit of a strange job, since I don't actually get paid, but I get funded by various supporters. I have a very bad memory, and need to be reminded who my supporters are, how much they pay me, and how I need to get in touch with them to let them know what I'm doing and how their money is being used. This sounds like the ideal job for a little relational database, and so I drew up the following schema: Download pdf Web Applications With Maypole

  • How to create, save, and upload Microsoft Word documents as Web pages
  • Writing documents in Microsoft Word™ is convenient and produces good looking results, but posting these documents to web sites presents a problem. Students who do not have a copy of Word installed can not view the documents. When a person without Word left-clicks on the link to the word document, they will be prompted to download the doc as a file. If they figure out how to download it and then try to open it, they will be presented with several unfriendly looking windows asking them how to open the file. This is more than enough to scare off the average student. Fortunately, there is an easy way to make Word convert documents into web friendly HTML pages. HTML pages can be viewed in any modern web browser and students do not need Microsoft Word™ to view them. This document covers creating a web friendly Word document, converting the word document into a web friendly HTML file, and uploading that file to a Blackboard Vista course. A guide to creating web friendly Word documents Most basic word documents translate very well into web friendly HTML files with little to no modification, but there are a few guidelines that it helps to follow while writing the Word doc. Some Word elements translate easily into web pages. Try to use these elements to format your pages as much as possible. Elements that work well for the web include: • Alignment (left, right, centered). • Bold and italics. Try to avoid using underline if possible. • Font size and color. •

  • Parallels Desktop for Mac User Guide
  • Parallels® Desktop is a powerful, easy-to-use software that lets you run Windows® and other operating systems with their applications in fast, secure virtual machines side-by-side with Mac OS® X on Intel®-based Macintosh® computers. Parallels Desktop is powered by a lightweight hypervisor, a thin layer of software that "works" between the host computer’s hardware and Mac OS X. This results in dramatically more stable, more secure, and higher-performing virtual machines. Parallels Desktop fully supports Intel virtualization technology (VT-x). See the Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) Support (page 8) topic. To enhance your experience of running more than one operating system on your Macintosh computer, Parallels Desktop for the Mac includes two utilities: Parallels Image Tool and Parallels Compressor™. Parallels Desktop has a set of special tools (utilities and drivers) that will help you use your virtual machines efficiently (mouse synchronization tool, clipboard synchronization tool, etc.). See the Parallels Tools Overview (page 67) topic for the full list of tools and their descriptions. Key terms used in this Guide: Primary operating system (primary OS) to designate the operating system that controls the input /output devices on the computer and that is loaded when the physical computer is turned on. Actually, it's Mac OS X. Guest operating system (guest OS) to designate an operating system that runs under virtual machine control. One primary OS and multiple guest OSes can run at the same time on a single computer. Download pdf Parallels Desktop for Mac User Guide
