Integrating RDBMS into an LDAP EnvironmentIn this tutorial, we will assume that our organization has a single LDAP directory containing some information about our
users, while a MySQL database is used to contain further information about users that is accessible via a web
interface. For now, we will simply work toward providing a means for LDAP-ready applications to access data within
the MySQL database used by our web application. This is easily achieved using VDS.
Assumptions
1. VDS is installed and configured properly; VDS is currently running.
2. An LDAP directory such as Active Directory is already installed and accessible from the computer on which VDS is installed.
3. A MySQL database server is already installed and accessible from the computer on which VDS is installed.
4. A MySQL database called "test" has been created, and contains a table called "users" with a schema that contains the following items:
`uid` varchar(25) NOT NULL,
`password` varchar(40) NOT NULL,
`Title` varchar(255) default '',
`FirstName` varchar(255) default '',
`LastName` varchar(255) default '',
`Company` varchar(255) default '',
`EmailDisplayName` varchar(255) default '',
`EmailAddress` varchar(255) default ''
5. The MySQL table called "users" is populated with at least one entry.
6. The LDAP directory is accessible on port 389 (default ldap port) and the MySQL server is accessible on port 3306 (default mysql port).
7. Port 3890 is available on the computer in which VDS is installed.

To perform the installation in Windows you will need:
• The Axis print server and its power adapter.
• A printer with either a parallel port or a USB port.
• AXIS AddPrinter, the free installation tool included on the CD supplied with your Axis print server (you can also download it from www.axis.com).
• You may also need a printer driver for your printer. Some printer drivers are already included in Windows, or may be on your Windows installation CD/DVD. Printer drivers can often be found on the CD supplied with the printer, or they can be downloaded from the manufacturer's Web site.
Installation in Windows
1. a) Connect the printer to the Axis print server.
b) Power up the printer.
c) Connect the print server to the network.
d) Power up the print server.
2. Start AXIS AddPrinter and click Next.
3. Now identify and select your network printer from the list shown in the window. Click Next.
4. If your print server is configured to use a dynamic IP address you will now have the opportunity to change this to a static IP address (recommended).
If the print server already has a static IP address, this step will be skipped. For more information on network settings you may need to contact your network administrator. After the IP address has been configured, click Next...

The Google data APIs provide a simple standard protocol, called "GData", for reading and writing data on the web using either of two standard XML-based syndication formats: Atom or RSS. This module will handle all the basic stuff a developer shouldn't have to worry about when developing modules that extend its functionality such as data transfer, protocol adherence, and authentication. It will expose its own API which will allow other developers to create modules that easily interact with information provided by Google's many service APIs. Using this module, module developers who need access to this information need only concern themselves with what's important: the data.
This module will benefit Drupal by providing developers with an easy way to interact with information provided by Google's many service APIs without worrying about all the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into accessing and modifying that information. This opens up a world of possibilities for integrating Google applications into Drupal. Some ideas that could be more easily implemented using the API provided by a GData module include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Using Gooogle's Apps API to integrate various Google applications into Drupal, allowing it to be a competitor with other online groupware suites such as Microsoft SharePoint.
• Integrating Google Base Data into dynamic Drupal applications using Google's Base Data API.
• Creating a Drupal front-end to Google's Blogger service through its Blogger Data API, allowing for the administration of2007 XMA Compatibility Charts Guide ManualThe XMA mission “To deliver products and services that enable you to compete successfully in high growth, profitable markets “To be your supplier of choice through offering the best all round service and value for money “To delight our customers With over 20 years experience and operating from state of the art distribution centres in Nottinghamshire we stock over 6,000 SKUs and serve more than 5,000 customers. FTP is more secure, quicker, and your files are not “coded” or “mimed” as there is no need to rely on your email server. Follow the instructions below to FTP your files to Colortech Graphics and Printing.
Step 1 Place your document files and any supporting images and fonts into a folder with your company name. Create a Stuffit (.sit) or Zip (.zip) Archive of that folder.
Step 2 If you need a FTP program, download and install it from the link below. If you already have FTP capabilities go to Step 3.
Step 3 Create a shortcut to our server by clicking on “Customize> New Shortcut” in the menu. Enter the information as shown below
Step 4 Connect to our FTP server at ftp.colortechdesign.com by clicking on “File>Open Shortcut>Colortech Anonymous FTP” If the shortcut is configured properly, the program will automatically take you to our “incoming” directory.
Step 5 Drag your Stuffed or Zipped Archive file into the window as shown. You will see your files being uploaded, but will not see them in the directory once they are uploaded.
Step 6 Call your Customer Service Representative or our Art Department to confirm you have uploaded files
Download pdf Macintosh Guide to FTPPC-REACH for Windows TutorialWelcome to the world of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). PC-REACH for Windows is a tool that can help you begin processing your financial transactions electronically. The most common uses are transactions that are done on a routine basis such as payroll, monthly installment payments, rental payments, membership dues, contributions, etc. The benefits are numerous for both credit and debit applications. For company payroll, a savings will be realized in check printing cost (time and paper), distribution, bank reconciliation charges, and employee productivity on payday. Any application for debits will give companies cash flow control never experienced before! Public acceptance of direct deposit payroll and automatic bill payments is prompting businesses to search for Financial Institutions capable of Originating (processing) Electronic Payments.
The following pages take you through easy to follow instructions for installing the program. Although very brief, the Tutorial section is helpful in learning the basics of how to enter a transaction and how to prepare a diskette for bank processing. Naturally more information is available in the User's Manual that is provided with each copy of the program.
Thank you for trying PC-REACH.
