  • Fiat Bravo/a & Marea - How to Renew your Bonnet Pin & Lock
  • This guide will show you how to renew your old existing Bonnet Pin and Lock. Please read this guide through at least once before fitting. Step 1. (Optional) Preparation prior to fitting Before you start removing your old parts you may want to consider preventing your new parts from corroding like the existing ones. You could smear a protective oil or grease over the exposed metal and rub it over or you could like myself spray paint the metal parts. Step 2. Draw around the Bonnet Pin Open bonnet and secure with the bonnet stay. It is important that you refit your new bonnet pin in the exact same position as the old one, so carefully with a pencil or dry marker, draw around the bonnet pin. Step 3. Removing Bonnet Pin Using a ratchet and a 10mm socket, slowly start to unscrew the two bolts holding the bonnet pin to the bonnet. If the bolts are rusty try to use some WD40 to help penetrate the rust. Step 4. Removing Air Intake Pipe Carefully remove the air intake pipe over the radiator using the 10mm socket on the three bolts highlighted below. Step 5. Unhooking the Bonnet Release Cable & Removing Lock Once the air intake pipe has been removed, you should now be able to see between the slam panel and the radiator. Carefully looking between and you’ll see the bonnet release cable. To detach the cable simple put a flat headed screwdriver into the position indicated by the red dot and carefully prise the cable out

  • Before we start, I suggest you to set undo-levels to 100, ‘Auto window/crossing by direction’ on in preferences general-tab and unit to milimeters. And remember, there’s no need to follow this tutorial or ref-images exactly, let your creativity flow and make the scissors your own. Lets start by putting the image I found from Google (1A) to viewport’s background by pressing ALT+B in maximized (AL+W) left viewport. Check the ‘Match Bitmap’ and ‘Lock Zoom/Pan’ so that the image styles in place. (You can get the image from this tutorials additional .zip-file. Read the instructions int the last page to get your hands onto it.) Then, make an ellipse spline around the darker edges of the hole. Convert it to Editable Spline. Use ‘Create Line’ in vertex subobject level to start a new line that follow the other dark edge (1B). Use “i” if you need to center the viewport while drawing the spline. You should get something like the image Download 3ds Max 8 Fisherman’s Scissors Modeling Tutorial

  • Mashup Data Sources for Yahoo! Pipes
  • It’s been called the essence of Web 2.0. It’s the ability to combine pieces of different web sites to create something new, something meaningful. Something for you and the people who have your tastes. Your social network. Not some mass market portal built by corporate programmers who think that they know you and your personal tastes. Referred to as a composite web site by some and Mashup site by others, we call it amalgamating web data through the process of transcoding. Whatever. It’s about giving you the data that you want on your mobile phone or desktop browser. It’s Web 2.0. It’s about you. Yahoo! Pipes Providing conduits through the internet backbone, they combine and filter data feeds to create for you a stream of useful information. They're Yahoo! Pipes and now Mashup technologies can channel HTML content through them. RSS Designer Features The Mashup Designer for RSS Feeds extends the reach of our Mashup development tools to include RSS feeds as deployment clients. In addition to creating the Dynamic XSL that will generate the RSS feed-- dynamically extracting remote content from one or more web sites, the Mashup Designer for RSS Feeds also provides an easy-to-use visual tool that helps filter the Mashup content. The filter choices defined by the user in the Mashup Designer for RSS Feeds are used in the code generation of the Dynamic XSL Download pdf Mashup Data Sources for Yahoo! Pipes

  • A New Paradigm in Data Intensive Computing: Stork and the Data-Aware Schedulers
  • The unbounded increase in the computation and data requirements of scientific applications has necessitated the use of widely distributed compute and storage resources to meet the demand. In a widely distributed environment, data is no more locally accessible and has thus to be remotely retrieved and stored. Efficient and reliable access to data sources and archiving destinations in such an environment brings new challenges. Placing data on temporary local storage devices offers many advantages, but such “data placements” also require careful management of storage resources and data movement, i.e. allocating storage space, staging-in of input data, staging-out of generated data, and de-allocation of local storage after the data is safely stored at the destination. Traditional systems closely couple data placement and computation, and consider data placement as a side effect of computation. Data placement is either embedded in the computation and causes the computation to delay, or performed as simple scripts which do not have the privileges of a job. The insufficiency of the traditional systems and existing CPU-oriented schedulers in dealing with the complex data handling problem has yielded a new emerging era: the data-aware schedulers. One of the first examples of such schedulers is the Stork data placement scheduler. In this paper, we will discuss the limitations of the traditional schedulers in handling the challenging data scheduling problem of large scale distributed applications; give our vision for the new paradigm in data-intensive scheduling; and elaborate on our case study: the Stork data placement scheduler. • Moujou 1.0 Reference and Tutorial Guide Manual
  • Moujou is a plug-in for Maya which allows you to access the powerful automatic tracking of boujou from within the Maya workspace. It is very easy to use – just load your image sequence and click on the ‘Track it’ button. The results will be delivered straight into your current scene using standard Maya components and there is no need for any further refinements before the track is useable. Image-based masks can be imported to guide the tracking. They can be used to hide areas of the image that may be causing problems, or to help track moving objects such as cars or trucks. Any black and white image can be used as a mask. Camera path smoothing is also available to fix any spikes or noise in the camera path. Moujou does not have the extensive tool set of the standalone versions of boujou, but it uses the same fast and accurate feature tracker and the same robust camera solver as its standalone brothers. If tracking your shot requires the manual intervention tools of bullet or boujou three then you can export your work as a boujou project file and continue working on it in either of these packages. moujou can only track fixed focal length shots.
