See page: 1-5 1 Unpack the SprintScan 35 scanner package. 2-7 2 Install a SCSI host adapter card in your computer (PC-compatibles only). 2-6 3 Change the SCSI ID number of the scanner, if necessary. The scanners are factory set to SCSI ID number 6. 2-7 4 With all equipment turned off, connect the scanner to your computer using the SCSI cable provided. If the scanner is the last device in the chain, use a terminator at the scanner (LE and ES scanners) or move the termination switch to ON (Plus scanner). 2-10 5 Plug the power cable into the scanner and into a grounded power outlet. 2-10 6 Turn on the scanner, then your computer. 7 Install the software according to the software manual. 2-11 8 To scan an image, insert an original into the scanner. 9 Initiate the scan from the software (see the software manual).
